That looks about right for a good party. Something like 200 cans per person. About the same as we drank when I lived up in Canada... ::)

Zaire???

Sadly what you're seeing is this fortnights nappies, milk and basic food for a bunch of kids.

I'm not embarrassed, but disappointed to say that's some of our bruddas from the bush.

Terrible problems in some Aboriginal communities.  :(

Kuna,

I guess you recognized the beer label.  Bruddas?  That one in the middle with his head down looks a lot like you.

Gator,

Yeah the label but the first thing that caught my attention were the people...  Typical for outback aboriginals that are living tough.

The thing is Aboriginals are nomadic and living in permanent communities hasn't worked well for many.

Don't get me wrong, there are some fantastic communities that are doing wonderful things but there are also some that are doing it really tough.

I also noticed the scrub in te background.

By the way.. I/O mightn't agree with me (Because all of us Queenslanders are supposed to drink XXXX - Fourex that is) but VB isn't a bad local beer. I drink it myself!  The sad thing is some bastard is profiting off the drunks outback by charging $80-$100 per carton when you can buy it in towns for $35.

Oh... bruddas...  Brothers but with an aboriganal accent!   ;)

FWIW, the native Hawaiian Islanders also say Brudda for Brother.  Makes you wonder...
