In addition to the Svetlana/Elena introduced by Pike in the Experienced section (which of you guys named Mark), here is another very active scammer.

Anna is from the city of Uglic, about 60km west of Yaroslav.

Just for the record,,, I don't know the ladys pictured...

I picked an image from the random image listed on the lower left side. I don't want anybody angry with me over the selection process... It's just what was handy.

However I'd trust the married lady, and question the single one. Have it your own way.

Olga,

I was simply making a point. Most of our wives are very attractive women, (mine is also), men need to be able to discern pictures of obvious photo models and real women. You were certainly a beautiful bride, my wife was also, but too many guys are leading a fantasy dream over the scammer's model girl photos. and fat Yuri's letters.

A fat, 40's guy who get's a letter from "that" girl, needs a serious reality check. No girl from anywhere who looks like that is starved for attention.

Spot on with you comments but if a fat grandad, like me, wants to fantasize having a model like that in his arm where is the harm?

Ok I understand you try to tell him to have a reality check but does anybody listen to your serious advice?

BTW thanks for your help. The tiger is roaring in her cage, trying every trick in her book to make me change my mind and go there for another month and cannot understand how a mouse had the guts to refuse her charms!... LOL

Yesterday she told me to ask permission from my friends on the board to go and visit her......shame she cannot see further from her nose and confirmed again Olga's comments.

She is furious about my posts, exposing her in the world of prospective options and Mad about Olga's comments.

You are absolutely right, another man's fantasy does me no harm. Personally, I get no satisfaction from some of these "Crash and Burn" stories, I don't think any of the other married guys do either.

wiz, in all honesty I didn't see it coming in your case. You were involved with an educated, age appropriate, and from what you told us initially, a sincere woman. I'm truly sorry it didn't work out for you. It was a regrettable adventure, but one from which that I'm sure you've learnt heaps. One thing I've learned is not to rush to judgement, unless a poster arrived with all the red flags flying, in your case I saw nothing to alarm me. You did it correctly, never put a foot wrong, took your time, got the "face" time, and finally figured out that immediate sexual chemistry is not the answer to long term relationships. She was simply the odd case. However, everyone has an agendum, sometimes two agendas merge and a happy marriage results. Sometimes they clash.

Some of these RW explain that they have trouble finding a good man in Russia. I wonder - how many times is this because the woman has a rotten character/personality?

This is akin to the American man who has trouble with serious relationships in America because he is jealous, controlling, promiscuous, greedy, etc. One can only hope that the two find each other. However, it seems that one rotten apple can spot another, and they avoid each other.

Newbies, nothing to fear! Spending a week or two with a woman will remove all doubt about her character/personality. You say her English is not very good? No problem. Love can see through the fog of differences in culture and language and age. You will know your woman in a short time. [Where is that sarcasm icon].

Another comment before closing, no decent RW in my opinion would allow such revealing photos in a public profile.

I don't know... I don't get it...

For me some women have a certain look that just screams "short term fling"... Others are MUCH more attractive because you don't even imagine a fling.

If a guy is going to fall for a girl that has the "fling look" about her, he's probably pursuing something before he's enotionally ready for a real relationship.

Keep in mind... if this girl is a scammer she's not a she, she's an "it". Who knows who's behind the revealing photos and dodgey passport?

Yes, Kuna, I think she's an extremely attractive/hot woman. Maybe even Hollywood material, I'd be lieing if I said different. There's the rub. She's too good looking to be "searching for love and affection" on the internet. IMHO, a girl who looks like that has probably never spent a lonely night in her entire adult life. Why would any middle aged man in this country, unless his name is Donald Trump, think this girl would give him the time of day?

Pictures like that just scream scam to me.

I agree with Kuna - Anna is not hot. She needs to take some of her scam money and go to the hairdresser - egad, a platinum bleached blond with her roots showing. Blond hair rarely looks good on a woman with dark eyes. Anna's body is what is referred to as "athletic". She is young yet her behind is larger than the sofa. Plus she looks like a dullard. Admittedly I would not kick her out of my bed.

JB I think you are blinded by the unbuttoned blouse and the Greyhound skirt (does anyone know this exppression?).

Now Ela and Olga are a vast improvement, and another matter entirely.

Our Anna is also Yuliana from Kirov

For some days appeared in Bride.ru, spammed some guys and them dissapeared.
She has another set of photos where she looks different.
The English is pretty good but as in 90% of Russian scammers she comes from Yoskhar-Ola

The problem is for the the honest woman of that town

M/A, If you remember my story, this is a bit of a trick question, but the end to the story is that this woman is now sitting in our living room knitting a sweater for our dog.

Wiz, trouble, you betcha! But mostly the good kind. Expensive? Much less than my AW wife and unlike her, worth every penny.

Just goes to show you that pictures can be deceiving in more ways than one.
