Domestic fares in Ukraine

It looks as if Aerosvit has markedly reduced airfares within Ukraine.

For February

Kiev to Simferopol RTN is available at $42
Kiev to Lviv RTN $41

These are special fares inclusive of taxes and I have never seen such low fares!

The prices still are quite reasonable for my trip in May. Roundtrip from Kiev to Lugansk is $537 grivnas for 2 people, or about $55 per person. The web site quotes $147 USD per person, so they must be selling tickets cheaper to Ukrainians.

Mir, I don't know where you are seeing those rates.  Your link is to the Aerosvit website and a search for Kiev/Simferopol rates shows $80 one-way and $133 RT, which is in line with what I have seen before.  I have heard you quote similar low rates before and I can never seem to find them when I actually look.  Am I missing something?

My post about fares was dated 31st of January and at that time they were valid.In fact another poster here Makkin did get them at the price for a Kiev to Odessa trip and I think Kuna also got a good deal.
You are right that right now the ones available from Aerosvit site are no where near the ones available then but that is quite typical of airline fares in general.
I have no idea of Aerosvit will offer fares at the rates they were in January but maybe they will so the best thing is to keep checking their web-site.
