Russian Detective Agency

I would like to know if any of you can recommend a reliable Russian detective agency to use to verify the authenticity and honesty of a Russian woman.  I haven't been actively looking for a woman from the FSU for a long time.  However, I still have a profile floating around the FSU that I put up years ago that occasionally brings forth an email from a Russian woman.  Most are scammers that are flushed out by a few probing questions.  However, there are two women that I have been corresponding with that are intriguing.  Their stories have some of the obvious elements of a scam, yet they have stood the test of time (correspondence going on for several months) and they have also passed the acid test(I offered to send them money and they refused).  The drama has become intriguing enough that I am contemplating another journey to Russia to meet them.  Before I do that, I want to explore all avenues of investigation before I buy a ticket.  A google search of the topic shows a plethora of agencies offering detective services, which brings up the specter of being scammed by a 'detective agency'.  So, if any of you have satsifactory experience with an agency, I would like to follow your recommendation.

The best investigation agency I am aware of is based in your home country and goes under a variety of names, most commonly, "Getyourbuttonaplaneandcheckforyourself".

I guess it depends on where they are. Perhaps one of the members here would have more specific information in regards to someone they could recommend.

Perhaps it is just me but it seems to me a little paranoid to hire a detective agency to check up on someone you have yet to meet.   I know a lot of guys go the flower/photo route to check on a gal but even that was something I never thought about.  Perhaps I am just too trusting.

Some of the ones who have used detective agencies could probably help you more if they knew where the gals lived.

Russo,  just what exactly are you wanting this detective agency to do?  To verify the address where a lady lives?  HEY!   No problem, easy enough, do it on average 2-3 times a week. Well, I guess I should say easy to do in most large and mid-size cities.  Novoanninskij Russia, not so easy to check her out.

Russo it's not so difficult to verify the address of a lady or even where she works, but "to verify the authenticity and honesty of a Russian woman",     HEY!,     it ain't happening!    No agency can get into the mind of a woman. Once you have verified the woman is real, or where she lives or works, it's going to take you, the individual (and usually some experience with Russian women will help), to know the real feelings and intent of a Russian woman.

Russophile, you sound like there is something serious going on there really worth investigation. Tell me, if you date a woman next door would you hire a detective to check her honesty?

May I add to the others here in that an agency can only determine her address, phone number, where she works, etc... Not honesty. For that you need to get on a plane and find out for yourself.

Call these women often and if they express enthusiasm when you call, they're most likely real women and happy to hear your voice. A woman that doesn't enjoy conversing with you or an insincere woman will not maintain a high level of enthusiasm very long and you should not visit her if shes sounds uninterested in talking to you.

Do not offer money before you agree to meet as a test. You will turn off sincere women and they may think you are wanting to buy their love, are desperate, or imply you have a lack of wisdom for offering money to people you never met.

All things considered and what we stand to lose if we fail, I say use every tool in the toolbox. The biggest "wrench" should be repeated visits & phone calls to the woman in question though it's not the same as actually living there with her for a while either. It's difficult to make comparisons between dating a girl in your own city with whom you can interact almost continuously on all levels and a girl on the other side of the globe whom you cannot. In addition, good common sense and good instincts should be in that toolbox too while detectives would be the tool of last resort, yet if they do turn something up for you then well....
