You'd probably get a lot more information just searching on Agencies + Ukraine as there are plenty of mentions of them in trip reports.

I know Bill from Lviv Brides (his banner is in the Top Sites) section and he is a straight up guy. Married  his lady and moved to Lviv so he is "in country" if you need something. Cindy was fine when I used them and others have liked them (and some have not). And there is always the ever present Elena's.

I don't think there's a "best site" personally. I think it depends on what you're looking for in your lady and what approach you're most comfortable using.

If my memory serves me correctly...  aren't you writing to a lady in Cherkassy???  I might be wrong but I thought it was you.

If you've been writing to her and you've resolved all of the questions in your mind (AFTER THINKING WITH YOUR BIG HEAD) then why not go and meet her.

WMVM is a hard road... and risky in my opinion, especially if ou've been writing to a lady for more than a few weeks.

If you're not specific about a city why not just use bride.ru or freepersonals.ru?   Of course you need to be disiplined and not believe everythng you read but at the end of the day it depends on what you want and how you're most comfortable finding it!

You are right I am writing a woman in Cherkasy and we have really turned things into overdrive lately communication wise. But concerns are developing on my end. She seems to be changing her attitude on a couple of positions that are important to me.

For what it is worth I only think with my big head. Doing otherwise has gotten me into some big jams that I do not want to revisit. Sure I want a nice looking lady. But not at the expense of another divorce.

Write Many Visit Many... If you're developing detailed correspondenc with one lady she'll expect you to only be visiting her...  it's a hard road... TRUST ME.

Thankfully it worked out well for me but it was stressful...

I just did a search for women over 40 who have been active in the past 30 days.  About 400 profiles showed with this criteria all from Ukraine.  I am not sure of your age range however there are plenty of profiles on that site.  I would say you have a very high chance of nearly all the women being real also.

By the way...  I found my Elena on that site 3 months ago.  I also read elenas e-book about russian women.  It was very helpful since I had no knowledge whatsoever only three months ago.  Basically I am saying I like the site.

As for how many to write...  That's up to you.  I selected about 40 out of 1500 or so profiles that I was interested in then sent all an introduction.  It took me only about two weeks to narrow it down to this one woman and stop communicating with the others.  I can't imagine visiting more that just her.  But keep in mind I think I'm lucky in this regard.

If she was in St. Petersburg or some other major city I might have had a back up plan.

Since you are asking for opinion on Ukrainian women...  Here's mine...

Ukrainian women, unlike Russian once, are known for being tough and even controlling. There are folkloric paintings of a Ukrainian woman running after the husband with a rolling pin.  They can be strong in a womanly, motherly, wifely, girlfriendly ways. No matter what they do and how they do it, everything just becomes an expression of very strong femininity.

The women are not controlling for wrong or psychotic reasons unlike American women. They get mad and boss men around when there is a reason for those things and not an unfair one. So, men improve and they make up. The thing is Ukraine is a Cossack country whereas most of Russia was serf country. Men in Russia are not much into working hard, but more into entertainment and drinking/partying. In Ukraine,however, work would bring its rewards because one did not have the lord to work for in the old times- it was mainly individual farms not the lord's estate. So guys drink less, work and study more.  When they screw up, women chew them out and then, they both move on.

Also, Russia and Ukraine are very different to the point that if you live in Russia for a while, it is very hard to fit in back in Ukraine.  That's what my Ukrainian/Russian friend told me.   

IMO, Russia is much better for girls, by all counts.  However, Ukraine does not require a visa for you to go to. You can go to East Ukraine where most people are ethnically Russian and you can do what you would do in Russia- be in demand.  Go for Russian girls. 

In the west Ukraine, people at there are very Germanic in character 
In the South Ukraine, people at there are kind of like Greek/Turkish-mediterranean
In the East Ukraine - people at there are basically Russian.

Historical perspectives are not straightforwards to analyze.
Ukraine was never in its present form or shape till the end of the first world war.
Previously there always was a sharp distinction between the Eastern Ukraine and the Western Ukraine.
The Western Ukraine had been under Polish/Lithuanian dominance and yes there was serfdone there but with Polish instead of Russian overlords, till of course Russia took over. The Cossack country is predominantly in the Western Ukraine and as we know cossacks exist on both sides of the border. It looks like there is a lot more shortage of men in Cossack country rather then the Polish influenced side of Ukraine and this does not support the notion that men in the Cossack country are harder working and less into vices that afflict the Russian men.JMHO

 For you that is true as well as for many who have found their lady in Ukraine. For many of us Russia is the best for women as we found our lady there so your statement is not true. For others Belarus or Moldova was the best place to find their lady.

 Don't you think it is rather silly to try to argue a point where what is correct is different for each of us and is our own opinion?
