Not just older foreigners that marry young Russian women.

Here is an old, several hundred years old, masterpiece located in one of the most popular museums in Moscow showing a much older Russian man marrying a young Russian bride.

In that time a young Russian woman did not have  the vote and right of her own choice  :)

In that time all old men with money married young girls
So old men from US, UK, France etc could find these young girls in their own country and did not need to travel all the way to Russia for this :)
