Kuna, quite simple,....to please all types.

See about two years ago we had a guy who got offended of the photos of these beautiful women. So next trip I took some photos of,....well,...other types of women so that whenever someone was not pleased with the fine looking resources that Ukraine and Russian have to offer, I could give them what they wanted.

I don't know if Itotally agree with that.  There's no doubt a lady must be phytsically appealing to us but the older I get the more I accpreciate the quality of a womans character.  It's all fine and good haven't someone "hot" hanging around but if they don't have the personality and principles to go with it they start looking pretty ugly sooner or later.

Maybe that's just me though!

Wayne... don't think I haven't thought about it...  BUT...  my 'future MIL" is quite attractive for a lady of her age so I'm confortable my girl will ALWAYS be beautiful!   


Oh, Edit:  I've seen photos of my girls mother at around the same age and they look like identical twins.  When we were going through family photo albums I actually thought it WAS my girl at first... but then I saw the horse and cart in the background...  (kidding of course).

Oops... mir... hadn't I mentioned that before????

Well...  a number of "interesting" events and seeing how each other reacted during those events has made us both develop a high degree of comfort about a future together.

There's been no proposal but we both talk in terms of WHEN we'll be together rather than IF we'll be together. 

I'll be returning in April to spend a month with her and her family and if everything is as expected we'll make further plans.  Those further plans might be a trip for her to Oz... or me taking another trip to Ukr.  It might be more.

In Australia we have a benefit over our American friends because our "Fiance Visa" gives us 9 months to marry not 3 months.  The math is pretty straight forward.  If we decide to marry we can still have around 14 months before we HAVE to marry.  Neither of us wants to rush it but we realise we have time on our side.

The correspondence we had before meeting was great because it was balanced and logical... not overly romantic.

When we met in Kiev the attraction was virtually instant but we were both still able to "maintain our heads".

She went back to Dnepr and as you're aware I went to meet her down there... and then she returned to Kiev with me before my return to Oz.

Since my return our communication has been remarkable and because of her unique experiences living overseas already I'm confident she understands the enormity of any future "big decisions".

She is without a doubt the most exceptional girl I've ever met.  Yes, she's beautiful - but the qualities that make her irreplaceable to me are her very gentle (feminine and gracious) exterior and her tough, capable and complex character.

She's spent time on the phone talking to my family and friends and they seem to have hit it off too.

At every step along the way I've seen things that have given me more and more confidence... 

A simple example is this:

She has a good career and like me enjoys discussing complex and complicated thoughts and ideas.  Even though these things are big positives for me they are contrasted by her love of and desire for a family with children.

Last weekend she was in Moscow with her family and we were talking on the phone in the morning (she was still in bed) when her nephew and two nieces (10, 6 and 3 years old) came into her room to sit on her bed.  The tone in her voice and her interaction with the children was so natural - and their reaction to her showed me I'd finally found an impressive woman who I could also imagine as the future mother of my children.

The only reg flag for me is the fact that her favourite fruit is bananas... and I HATE bananas!  We've discussed this and agree that she'll eat them outside as long as I promise to kiss her every day.  That's an easy promise to keep.
