My wifes secret spies have told her about my thread in which I have mentioned her friend. Things are getting too heavy and I feel I have no freedom to post anything here. It is very sad. I am not doing another swan song, just disappearing for awhile. I hope the spies are happy for now. They are too cowardly to let me know who they are. You can call my wife back and tell her I have stopped posting. So much for my freedom of speech. Some of my friends have mentioned that I usually do not post anything objectionable. I guess RWD is seen as a subversive place intent on destroying happy marriages. Why do I see it as a positive place where guys actually try to help each other? I really wanted to help her friend and not damage my marriage. Maybe the responses were TOO honest.

Has "I" actually read this site? Maybe that would help. Elena reads here from time to time but doesn't post very often. Maybe if "I" was reading here the "spy" would be cut off at the knees. Just a thought.

Nobody likes a gossipy woman who likes to hurt other people's marriages. Those type of people who report others over nothing and damage people's marriages are low life's.

Why should you disappear if you have written nothing you are ashamed about? Hopefully your wife would be proud of your words. Ask her to participate on the forum and she could freely read anything you write and the "spy" would be out of a job until she finds someone else's marriage to damage to feel important again.

On a liter note some of you know Olga and I have a nice 5 acre oak studded farm here in Florida and my sisters one hundred acres buts up against ours. Today I come home to find Olga chasing two bulls and 12 cows that broke through our fence with a 8 foot horse whip with nothing on but her underpants. This truly was a video moment. I only wish I had my video camera at the time. This truly was a site to see. I will not get Olga mad she now will just go to the barn and get the horse whip mmm could be fun.

I wonder if she will where those six inch spiked heels of hers.

SOC, I concur with Vike and Gator. If these "spies" entertain themselves
by monitoring their friend's husband's posts online, I'd call their friendship
to question. I know the effort you've put into your marriage - so
maybe these witches....err, "spies" just enjoy making you squirm.

Very well Said Vaughn. SOC I also agree adamantly with Vike & Gator you do have some serious issues to discuss and work out with your wife and that is the most important thing your marriage. I know Olga would want to discuss and solve whatever problems that came about.

SofC, One excellent piece of advice I received was to never disparage your wife in public or to friends. Disagreements between the two should be kept behind closed doors and worked out there. I try to never say or write something that I would not want my wife to hear or read. I'm not saying you have done this. I'm too lazy to go back and look at all of your posts so just bear with me as I generalize. The problem is that even the most innocent comment can be taken out of context or misunderstood because of the man/woman or English/Russian disconnect. She sometimes ask what I am saying about her on this forum so I have showed her how to log on and made it clear that she is free tho check anytime and to ask about anything I have written. The imagination is often much worse than the facts.

But still, I think you have deeper issues if you're wife feels that she has to listen to secret spies to keep track of you.

She received 3 calls at various times. There is a small group of very catty women we have met at parties who apparently don't think very highly of me.

So why is your wife continuing to associate with or take calls from someone who speaks negatively about her husband? I know anyone who speaks evil of my wife will be sitting on an inflatable pillow for a very long time and my wife feels the same way. Our friends either like us both or they no longer deserve the title.

Lordy, I hope they read Scott's post very carefully and repeatedly. They'd be
toast in this household as well.

This type of thing is EXACTLY the reason my wife stays away from the Russian community here in FL. Wayyy too much of this sh!t going on when you have folks who's lives are so damn boring they have to start messing with yours purely for the "sport" of it.

I think envy is something that happens a lot in International Marriages. I know people with Thai wives... I know a guy that met a Filipina here... I also had an employee with a Swedish wife and all seemed to have issues with the "foreign communities" at times.

SoC.. I think you need to have a talk with your wife. She's free to read anything you post here and she's even welcome to contribute (we'd all love another FSUW here giving her perspective) but if she's listening to external criticism and judging you for that you have some talking to do.

Any external criticism of my girl would be treated exactly as Scott has articulated and I would expect My Girl to be as loyal to me.

Best of luck managing the envious ones around you and the loyalty your wife should be showing.

These troubles you repeatedly have are the likely result of you not being able to be completely open with your wife about your participation here or overstepping whatever agreements you two have reached in the past about the extent of your posting. You're treating RWD like a girlie mag under the mattress.. forgetting that someone has to change the sheets.

It's your wife's friend, so why in the world would you want to even get involved without her (or even they) knowing about it?

Hey unknown ladies. Get a life and leave this guy alone. He loves his wife, has treated her and her son well, and you have no business meddling with his marriage. These cowardly women (or woman) who snipe behind SOC's back will never have the courage to post to this topic. Hopefully SOC's wife will read all of these posts and realize only cowards talk behind someone's back, and thus are not worth the time of day. The topic about his wife's friend perhaps should not have been brought up for discussion (without her consent), but nonetheless if her friends have something to say about their disapproval, speak directly to both SOC and his wife.
