I can't tell if your English is getting better or worse
The latter part of this thread is all pretty much in good fun, but this comment is uncalled for.  One thing I have noticed on this board is the general ABSENCE of any negative comments regarding the level of anyone's English, who tries to write in English when it is not their mother tongue. IMO this crosses a line that shouldn't be crossed.

I/O

I agree completely.

ER - your comment *is* out of line. In fact, quite a few (most?) of your comments contain a sarcastic edge that is not productive.

If you have a sincere question/issue - then raise it without the sarcasm.

ER,

I have no aliases here - and another crack like that will place you in an extended 'time-out'.

Fair warning.

please  try write in russian every now and then  with some sense . I would be so happy to read what you will write

ER:  If you don't take the above as a pretty fair whack around the chops from a young Russian woman then you are dumber than some of your posts indicate and that's pretty bloody dumb.

Tattoos, piercing, hair style, and those phucking stupid crazy baggy short pants, all serve to put a date on us.  Do you want to be current, or not?

It does not matter if you like the particular thing or not - it will change too.

We have all had friends from High School that did not go to the University, travel, advance and change ... they still listen to the same music, wear the same cloths.

I have no piercing or tattoos, I don't want to change my hair style to look messed up on purpose; but I am considering them.  I will NEVER wear those stupid short pants.

Ain't gonna ever talk like the other brothers, or go pick up some bitches either.

Regarding tattoos ... It should NOT be loud or large.  It has to be a small statement that speaks to the human experience, but not common.  I am up for suggestions.

I think Russian woman whom the author of the topic will meet wont be bothered with his tattoos , a lot of women do not care about this

so I am in a hurry to calm him that he has all the chances to meet nice woman here having tattoos or piercing:) actually it is not that important, the main thing is soul and character personal qualities , but then  again there is that Chinese proverb about the thing that usually in a normal not artificially decorated body there is strong spirit living , just do not get me wrong :) it is all depends on individual cases

Aj nice very good guy met a cool wonderful Russian woman and he has tattoos so nothing prevent them to be together, cos it is not tattoos it is soul language:)

Jazzy is growing up :-)

Maybe this means Jazzy is prepared to have a small tatoo that says "RWD" on her shoulder?  ;D

Yes, I am setting myself up for a rebuttal suggestion.......make it creative Jazzy.  :D

This is simple. WmGo needs a tattoo covering his entire chest of a great big heart with the word "Jazzy" in it. Nothing less would do!

This kid doesn't miss much. ::) ::)  BTW Jazz it is not so much about individual defence, but more about something which you will find among most Americans and Aussies, that is, we ACCEPT others regardless of whether or not their language is perfect, the fact that they make the effort is the thing we respect and esteem very highly.  Anything else runs against the grain.

Generous comment and it should be encouraging to those who are genuinely seeking answers to this question.  I have to say that the women I mix with in Russia are not too keen on tattos, but to be fair, I tend to run with a certain group who tend to think alike.

LOL jazzy,nice ink ;)

as far as my reply,
while it seemed a little harsh when i read it..

i wasnt trying to put down your views ,or opinions,
as much as just trying to let you look into them  a little ?

i'm not that sensitive about the issue..at all ! LOL
i'm far more radical in life than something as mundane as some pigment on my skin.  ;)

from my first post agreed that many RW don't like them,.,
but felt it also wouldn't really ruin infantry mans chances either.

i should have left it at that.. i often type way too many words..
to convey something  simple.
;D :)

LOL! That would just be cruel and inhumane punishment!

Man o man , this thread just keeps going on and on. I have Tattoos. I have a lot of Tattoos. I have two half sleeves, chest and back done. I like them. My wife likes them. My children and grandchildren like them. I have yet to be told by anyone they did not like them. I am sure the day may come when someone may very well say , Hey big southern Tattooed , western redneck biker man, I don't like your Tattoos. I could care less what the people think. The thing is all Tattooed people are not bothered by the fact that people don't have Tattoos. However it seems that people that don't have Tattoos sure are bothered by people that do. I have walked in the streets of Moscow, Kiev , Budapest, Central and South America and Cuba and never a bad word said to me by anyone at anytime. I have had many people and yes, this includes our beautiful and classy Russian  Ukrainian , Hungarian  Easter and Western European ladies say how nice and well done they were. I have even been asked why did I not have the whole arm done, I was ask this at Sturgis SD one year as well as In other countries and by some of our beautiful classy ladies..
No one ask me to get Tattooed. I did it when I was a man of legal age and sober. I liked it so much I went back and got more and then some. I have work by some of the finest artist in the world, who believe this or not can paint and draw pretty well too. Like I said the fact that you are not Tattooed  does not bother us at all. Why in the blue hell would the fact that we are bother you ? I'll be quiet now...

We have a pretty busy laser service to remove tattoos.
Depending on size, ink etc it can take 30+ treatments costing £1500+ and the pain.
The blue and the red pigment fades quite well but nothing makes the green go away.

And thank you, btw, for another "POV/perspective/experience talkin'" regarding REAL tattoos and FSUW.  I'll keep it in mind.

Dear Patrick

this has nothing to do with you and your personal body and yourself first of all

This topic was created by Infantryman , he asked the attitude of Russian women about tattoos and other people how Russian women will react if they see the guy with tattoos

Absolutely nothing to do with  you and your tattoos was in particularly said, you wished yourself to participate in this discussion

so allow  please  , to post various opinions about tattoos as long as it is an opened forum:)

I think we  are all happy that your relatives love your tattoos and all your friends do,it is only for the better:)
But as they say tastes differ, one might like this the other might not, and all the opinions should be acceptable and should have their right to exist!

I have yet to be told by anyone they did not like them.

Allright Patrick, I don't like them!  :P There, now you can't say that any more...

In the end this is the same as having brown eyes, blond hair, piercings, etc. yada, yada....

There will be those who will like them, there will be those who don't care one way or the other, and there will be those who don't like them. So what? That is their issue not yours.

If you are happy with yourself then there is no concern or question about it. To really know you will have to go and find out. As it is a concern then the simple solution is to ask anyone you contact how they feel about them. If they hate them then move on and forget about it.
