Just to spice things up let me convert this thread to a "Hot or Not" thread.....disregarding all other matters, just going by pure physical looks, do you think Yulia T. is "hot" or "not"?

Obviously, I think she is HOT  :D

I think you meant to write "guys" rather than "gays" - but I could be wrong.

I think you will find the vast majority of the guys here have a profound interest in women from the FSU.

A recent poll conducted showed about 100 guys here who are married, or engaged, to RW (Russian Women).

For a large variety of reasons, the guys here are normally not terribly interested in AW. I little research may turn up a poll we conducted on the reasons for looking to the FSU - if my memory serves correctly.

Doubtful, she doesn't seem to live up to her INTENDED name (her music-minded parents wanted to call her CON DOLCEZZA, an Italian notation of musical expression meaning "with sweetness", but the birth registrar made a mistake when taking that down ;)).

Ack, I dunno... Condie is a Texas Ten... plus a bottle of Vodka... however, nothing really wrong with American girls, it's just so hard to train them to speak with that sexy Russian accent..  ;)

Mocking Bird,

First, welcome to RWD. It is nice to have another lady from the Former Soviet Union (FSU) here on Russian Women Discussion.

One thing that you need to be aware of is that this forum is NOT just about women from Russia. Rather, it is about *all* women from the FSU - Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova....even women from the Baltic States and the Central Asian "Stans", in addition to Russia. I point this out because, curiously, you mentioned that Yulia Tymoshenko is Ukrainian as if that makes her irrelevant. For your information (FYI), everyone here was/is aware that she is Ukrainian.

Concerning American women, I personally would prefer the right AW over an FSUW. This for a variety of reasons. But I like to keep my options open and pursue all possibilities for having a family including children. Other men have different goals and desires, so one cannot generalize. And, not all men here are from America. Many are from Europe and Australia, so only they can comment on women from their countries.

Concerning the American Secretary of State, yes she is HOT in her own way, just like Tymoshenko is HOT, or well she used to be HOT. :D

In my book, Yulia paid for her past sins by continuing to rail against Kuchma while he had her imprisoned.  She may the Ukrianian Mandela.

Olga,
Are you trying to tell us that since she has some Jewish blood, she's not really Ukrainian?  I've seen this attitude before.  If you are, shame on you!
