Here's a letter I got, after making a reply to a girl.  The letter and the pictures says it all, she didn't ask for money, but read and look.

How are you getting on today? I am so happy to get your wonderful

ever heard that women are crazy about them? I do not think that I am
so beautiful and great , but I will not argue with you I try to

from work , and kiss him and ask him about his day , may be I watched
too many films about happy families or may be I am stupid but that are
my dreams . I think that a woman is first a wife and a mother and only
then she can build a carrier, if it does not interfere her family , I
am a girl of conservative looks , do you like it?

So , thank you for telling me about what you like. As for me, most of
all in my life I love life ! I know that it can sound a bit strange ,
but I love life with all her rises and falls , with rain and snow ,
with woods and lakes , with people . I like good people who are ready

Honey , may I tell you one thing ? I do not speak even a word in
English and computers are like a dark wood for me , I can not use
them, so I turned to the translating company , one of the biggest in
my town and they helped me with profile and so on , they translate
your and my letters ,I hope you will not be angry with me , ok ? One
day I will learn English and may be some more languages , it is so
interesting!

Well, her text may look pretty ordinary..but her photos obviously do not properly reflect the content. I would not tell that the girl on the photo has conservative values..

Suggest you may want to ask her back about the photos, under what circumstances were they made, and who made them for her? You might want to tell her straight that her pictures portray just the opposite to the character of her letter.

phantom rather than potentially insult the woman by telling her that her words to not match her photo, ask her for her home address and cell phone. If this babe tells you she has no cell phone, move on. Babes like this "DO" have cell phones and if by some chance her $400 camera phone got lost, stolen or broken you can bet she has a cheap $35 back-up phone at home. If she does not give you her home address, move on.

My strong suspect is this is a photo of a model that this scam individual, I think Yuri, is using and claming to be a translation agency when it is nothing more than a scam individual working from his home.

She won't ask you directly for any money but the translation agency will let you know in the next week that her funds are all used and if you would like to continue to write this lady send $100. All this is scam of course.

So, ask if she has a cell number. She (he) will more than likely say no.  If you want to believe this, then ask for home address and you can verify that this woman lives at this address by delivering a single red rose and your letter telling her how excited you are to soon meet her

Lily, that would be a total waste of time. As Jack said, her mention of a translation agency says it all, it's a typical prelude to the translation-agency scam .

Jack is correct with his comments... I have been there, done that.  Answer her and the translation company will write you and say she would love to write you but cannot afford the translation service....but you can pay for her so you two lovebird can get to know one another!

I highly doubt the woman in the picture, is the one writing you. They probably stole her picture from a modelling site. The woman in the photo exists.  Irina, the one who is writing you, probably does not.

Yeah, the second I saw those photos, it was obvious that it was a scam in the making.  I've gotten some like that lately, one it was funny, sent a totaly different girl's pic the second letter.

Not really. Yuri gets money from dumb men who can't tell reality from fantasy. Phantom's Yuri is giving hints about going to see the world, cost of translation and that she/he doesn't speak English. In other words, she's going to need money to keep the coresspondence going and can't speak on the phone. Most Yuri's do not ask for money, only hint for it and there's enough men coming to the rescue with money in hand to save Yuri's sick grandmother. The men who would send money are most likely not heroes but they want to get into the woman's pants. They would not rescue ordinary looking girls as much so hot women in photos are used to maximize Yuri's income. Yuri knows what he's doing.

please remember such glam crazy girls like this one on the pic, usually have  no idea that their pictures are used in scamming which is horrible, or if they do that themselves that is for sure a scam.
Plus I thought guys already do not pay attention to such scamming letters and hot pic of crazy sl-ts

Hmmm I doubt there are any crazy old businessmen in Russia who fall for such scams, the scam is aimed at crazy old men from US/Europe, old Russian men with money don't have much problem in finding young mistresses and they don't need agencies/internet for that.

well yeah that is what am saying she is a scammer  there is no doubt, that means that this scammer failed with russian old crazy businessman or something I actually even doubt that it is a  somebody who is existing maybe that is an agency 's trick  who knows a?
