First let me say that the information and insight I have received from RWD board members by lurking here for so long has been very helpful to me. Thank you all very much!  I will give you a bit of background. I was in a six month writing relationship with one RW. I had progressed to telephone conversations (these didn't work out well as she spoke no English and I have learned very little Russian to date), home phone number and address. I had made several preparations toward going to meet her this spring, and then received a few red flags. I decided not to go at this time, because of these red flags and language barrier. I have now lost this lady if she was real to begin with and am contemplating trying again with a trip in the fall. There is just something about RW/UW and their qualities (Yes, I have met a few in real life) that keep drawing me back. I find those same qualities lacking in the AW that I have known and dated.  So I would like to thank you all in advance for your future answers to my silly newb questions.

 Good to hear that we have been of some help and sorry to hear that this lady did not work out for you. Good news is that there are many more options so take your time and find one that is right for you.
