Jazzy, we haven't got around to producing a CD yet, although we have videotape recordings of most of our church concerts that can be used for that, whenever our Choirmaster Augusto Merlo (which would translate into Augustus Blackbird ) finds some time for that (he has the necessary SW).

Another day, another letter from the scammer, different pics again, along with her name and address this time and "I love you" B.S, but, don't bother sending anything to her postal address, as "Kids" like to get drunk in front of her building and destroy things, her mail box has been destroyed.  she going to go to the post office and call me from pay phone, "They have calling cards for this!"

Her claim about her mailbox being destroyed is totally believable, and the post office is where most people there go there to make international calls.  They typicaly have a call center there.

From my experience, very few scammers ask for money. All they have to do is send pretty photos and talk about their problems in life. Of course all problems are solved with money and too many guys come a running with money in hand to save those damsels in distress.

This woman has been on the internet for a while and her profile keeps changing. She's had very many desperate men write her but she keeps her hopes up. She looks high maintenance but probably not a scammer because her profile has endured time and men compaining to management about her.  So here is a real woman looking for a man and she has had many offers of money and tickets without ever asking. I understand that she complaints about deceitful men and the men slandering her online and to management, and asks not to offer her money and tickets. Also she says that she had bad experience with online dating. That's it.

I agree 100% with Lily.  What makes her "high maintenance"? 

So she has had her hair styled and colored for the photo shoot.  However, her toenails do not appear polished.  She is wearing simple jewelry.  Her shoes do not look expensive. 

Her only negative points are that she does have more makeup on than I prefer, some of her public photos seem too sensual to be a classy woman (save those for private emails),  and there are too many photos as if she could be self-centered. 

Her photos say "I am feminine, I like to look beautiful", not "Buy me three pairs of Italian designer shoes" (although all RW secretly wish the latter).

She even lists her weight at 152 lbs (69 kg).  What AW would ever disclose such or not underestimate her true weight?  This woman seems honest.  She just wants out of the Urals.

BTW, there are many men who do offer tickets and money for a "romantic" meeting in a tropical paradise. 

Also, Nando, $80k would never support a high maintenance woman.   She would spit on such a trifling amount.  Have you ever been to Moscow and seen what emerges from limos at clubs and fine restaurants?  Now those are expensive women?

Gator, while my English is poor but I intended to say that she is looking for a guy earning more then 100 K USD (better € now) , after taxes . The guy who earns a mere 80k (before taxes) was the guy who lied to her...just joking.

And a gold digger who wants an expensive lifestyle wants more then tickets to  Barbados, Puket or so on. There was a woman in freepersonals who said she want   
a good vacation in an exotic place with a WM and not marry a rich guy. They are different types of woman.

Firstly... anyone that's met a good RW and spoken about her dating site experiences with WM will know there are so many boofheads out there wasting the womens time and being totally inappropriate,

To judge someone purely on their profile is probably just as foolish as falling in love with another womans photo.  We might all think we have a sixth sense but no one could (or should) judge this woman until they met her and got to know her.

I bet most men writing to RW use the photo as the main criteria for selecting a woman to correspond with.  Looks are obviously important but if a man enters this pursuit looking for certain physical characteristics (hair colour, eye colour, height, etc) he might feel like he's onto a "good thing" before he even understands her character.

When I was looking for women to write to I considered the question of "looks" within ranges... they were either attractive to me or not. When reading their words I looked for things that weren't said or contradictions... or profile that had little imagination.

It might be me but I saw little value in most of the profiles I saw.

A written paragraph of about 400 words is often very talkative.

We really can tell something of a person by the way she expresses herself, by things that she emphazises in telling about herself, by her choice of words. We can see whether her language is rather rich or rather poor, whether her narrative is interesting, well ordered and easy to read. Sometimes I get a nausea reading some daters profiles, they can be really boring. A well-thought profile is able to put a seeker stand out of the crowd.

Yes, people look at the pictures first. As for me, the things that make me stop on a profile are the person's facial expression and his eyes. After that are the physicals.

Of course I agree with you that actions talk better than words...but not at the stage of initial acquaintance.
