Trip #2 - Going Home to see My Girl

She is indeed wonderful!

Seeing her interact with her friends and family, and seeing her with her workmates was a delight.  As well as being beautiful and intelligent she's also charismatic and cheeky.

Ukraine citizens have to apply for Australian Visa's through the Russian Embassy because Australia only has a consulate office in Kiev and no Embassy so no matter what they hve to have their interviews in Moscow.  It's OK though... she'll be able to visit her family while there.



A bit of an update...

My Girl's brother-in-law and I are now in direct email contact and he is turning into a friend.  You know, sharing jokes about everyday life and talking about "the women".   

He will be bringing his family to Australia for the wedding and of course we'll be bringing MIL here too.  He shouldn't have a problem with the visa because of his business, personal assets and previous travel throughout Europe and Nth America.

I've only been home a week and a half and it's extremely hard knowing it'll be months more before she is here.  We talk constantly on the phone and the emails never stop... This last trip has given me a much deeper insight into her personality and character and I don't think I could have got that in a holiday setting.

Everythings good... and I wish others as much luck and good fortune that I've had so far.
