  Hello,friends!  I just recieved a new e-mail
 from Katerina, my new RW. We've written b&f about 5 or 6 times
and just  asked about our families, our lives in general; nothing
romantic or anything. The last two letters or so, she's been talking
about marriage customs and customs in her family.She already
believes that I'm the one for her, and that God has brought us together among millions of people etc,etc...    I know,
don't fall for pix and all that, (the pix she sent are of a woman I
could never,ever hope to have  in my wildest fantasy; I wish I
could show you)  This is driving me nuts; I want to just ignore her
and move on,  but then I'd feel like I missed out on a gorgeous woman who  would make my dreams come true!! There are actually
people here who have met their mates and are happy; I'm torn!!!

Any and all advice will be appreciated!!!

Dave, it's 99.99999999999% likely that this is a scam.  No real FSU woman is going to tell you that you are the one for her after 5 emails.  It just doesn't happen that way.  It may actually be a woman writing to you, but it could also be a guy. Either way, she's following the steps of the classic scam.  Have fun with 'her' and bait her along if you wish, but if your heart is 'torn' then cut her loose and follow the advice here on ways to find a real Russian woman.

Btw, the scammer who contacted me, who began my research into real possibilities was also named Katya. :-)  Don't feel bad, many of us here began to be interested in the real FSU ladies due to a scammer contacting us out of the blue.

Yet another Dave... what is this? Are we becoming the Master Race or something?  I can think of about 10 dave's here (though some do not seem to post much anymore)... must be something in the water.

The guys are right but that .0001% chance of her being real will haunt you, right?  Give us some more facts to help you prove it.  Name of agency would be a great help and any details you feel comfortable sharing.  Ask her for her phone number so you can call her direct will shake things up a bit too.  Home address so you can send her flowers is another good one.

Just FYI, I did marry a beautiful RW 8 years ago, so it does happen.  But I went through a reliable agency and had direct contact with her from the very beginning.  Do not get your hopes up too high, but sometimes that .0001% is all you need!  Good luck.

Nahhhhhh  Just "common".   A bit like this story of the beautiful woman just waiting for him to "Arrive to her" or more to the point, his money to "Arrive to her".

KenC is spot on with that tiny element of doubt that will haunt so many guys until they find out for sure.  Best way to eliminate the doubt is arrange a meeting, get on a plane and go, but be sure you have something else lined up to do if she doesn't front.
