New Here--Read my emails from a Russian Woman

Hi.  I'm new here and never really planned on being here.  I listed my name on the Yahoo Personals after moving to a new city and state.  A woman contacted me within Yahoo and after her first email I could tell from her English that she was not from the United States although her Yahoo listing said she was in the U.S.  She informed me that she was in Russia and that when they signed up for the Yahoo account it would not let them select Russia as her country of origin. (???)

This is looking like a scam to me and since I don't want to fall in love with her pictures that she has sent I am enclosing many of her emails so all of the experts out here can give me some advice.   I do not wish to make a joke out of all of this.  If she is legit then she is legit.  This is my first experience with a Russian woman and it just happened un-solicited.  I am of the opinion that if something seems too good to be true then it probably is!  I'm probably like most of the men out here ----IT WOULD BE AWESOME IF SHE IS FOR REAL!!!!

No question that it's a scam.  No way in hell she can get a visitors visa, expecially in one week, and no way in hell she has no phone.

It follows the typical story line. I would definitely do a search on her and see what comes up in the scam sites.  At this point you can choose to play along for fun or just drop her, but don't expect it to go anywhere.

Sorry about posting the emails from her.  As I mentioned I am new here and did not know if this was the norm or not.  I wanted forum members to get a feel for the emails I have received so that they could give me some guidance.

3) Some of the Find/Replace miss adding spaces by your name

5) She's coming to the states??? HUH? Did you invite her?

Thanks everyone.  I assure you that I am with the program.  I'm not about to send my hard earned money to anyone that seems more like a fantasy than a reality.

When her name changed from Anastaysia to Anastasia and she mentioned that she was 28, lived with her parents and had no phone I knew something was up.

My travels have never taken me to the FSU but I found it difficult to believe that a woman would not have a cell phone considering every kid in the world seems to have one these days.

PS don't put much stock in spelling of  names. It is phonetic - whether you say anaSTAYsha or anaSTAHsha, maybe "she" heard it another way and was trying it out. In Russian the accent is even on a different syllable.
