I know someone who has been writing to a woman through this agency for a couple of months now and I haven't heard much about this one before.  Anyone have any experience or knowledge about it?

YES - I would highly discourage the use of this site and it's sister site.  I signed up and got contacted by quite a few gals.  I asked one for her phone nr and she gave me a nr. w/ 911 as an area code - nobody answered.  I didn't "get it" right away - someone was warning me; however, a few days later there was a International Paypal account opened up w/ my CC and sent 400.00 cash to someone.  I saw it as soon as it happened and caught it before much more damage - Paypal refunded the money and said they saw it clearly as fraud. BUT, it was 4 weeks before the money was returned to my account.

Scott, I am not endorsing this agency, but my 2-year experience of being registered there is, after the usual initial flurry, a flow of 2-3 letters per week from 35+ y.o. FSUW.

Global Ladies offers a lot of sight seeing tours and different packages that aren't listed on the website for more information email support@globalladies.net and tell them you are interested in finding out what kind of romantic or apartment packages that we have to offer. We can put together any kind of package that you want us to, all you have to do is ask.

One other thing, you can't let these ladies beauty intimidate you, they are very beautiful, but they are looking for every day guys who they can love unconditionally.  It isn't "too good to be true" give us a chance, I promise you won't be disappointed.

Looks like macman had a similar bad experience.  I'd warn your friend, Scott...to be careful with this agency.

Possibly. The few times I used my c/c I had no such problems, the last time being in March for a phone call through them.

I wonder how recent that experience is, mine is that passing contact info is a no-no with them both via mail and phone.

Back then, Globalladies was a clearing house for girls listed at a number of agencies.  I tired of paying them and searched out the girl I was writing, using some of Bruno's tips...and found her.  Got her cell # and email address and was done with Globalladies.

55north - I understand you have big interest in this one woman but make note that the interest does no good if you can't get her real contact information.

Here is my advice:

Use elenasmodels.com

Get a platinum membership.  You will be able to exchange contact information in your first email if you want.  You will get cell numbers, real addresses, and real email as soon as you log on to the site.

There is no hidden fees.  I paid about $500 or so for my 6 month platinum membership there.  Well worth it - and the site is NEARLY scammer free.  Thousands of girls.

I tried a few other sites but this one was the best.

You need to find her home agency, which sold her listing to Global.

Look at the agencies in her hometown.  Browse the profiles.  If you find her (I did in my case), contact her directly through them. That way, you are more likely to get an email address or phone #.  Good luck.

There are two "Global Ladies" websites (or more)    But, the one in Kharkov - globalladies.net is a real agency with real gals - I know this.  The husband and wife are out of Seattle - (I think) and they are very nice and take good care of their clients and are very protective of their ladies.  The other website - globalladies.com is the scam?? site - they are in partnership with russianladies.com and share email info between the two.  So, you may want to check with your client to see which agency he is using.  Here are the links for the two:

By the way, on one of my visits to lovely Crimea, I was amazed at the "Valley of the Ghosts".  I did not get a chance to drive up close to them, but are these rock formations as awesome as they look from a distance?  I hope they are as that is one of the main reasons I want to get back to Crimea.  Thanks, Brad

Global ladies is a branch of European Connections based in Atlanta GA. Scam or no depends on your definition. In my opinion the "introductory" letters that you get arent directed at you and the lady hasnt seen your profile and chosen to write to you. The "introductory" letter is a generic one she has written and then is sent out to whom ever. By and large though the ladies are real though. Ive met a number of them in person through that site. My summation of how it goes is there are thousands of mom and pop "agents" scattered accross the FSU and they are the ones the ladies deal with. They don't know Global Ladies from a hole in the wall. Through some mechanism the folks in Georgia manage to accumulate the profiles of these women and manage the communication between you and the various agents. The take home message here is 1)she didnt write to you first 2) she's probably a real person 3) if you respond tell her about yourself and with in 3 or 4 letters tell her when you plan to travel and ask for her phone number. They wont let you exchange email addresses but you can exchange phone numbers. If she's for real and interested she'll give you her phone number. If she does find a translator and call. If not move on.

Thanks for that advice.  Thank heavens the 'attraction' factor is low on that site (only tempted to open 1 letter in 3 months), still awaiting a response to my letter.
