While true that this is not a school setting - I firmly agree with Lily's request that people substantiate their comments with citations. The simple reason for this is so that we are working with FACTS, and not simply emotion-laden interpretation.

Guys, this discussion has spread over 13 pages now..
I admit, as soon as I read his report (well, a quarter of it really; as much as I could read), I thought of him as a sex tourist.. Namely, because he seems to travel to the FSU for the sole purpose of meeting women, is shallow in his judgments, and does not seem to be willing to commit.. And this is exactly how I voted.

But even then what's the big deal?

So the guy admits he "loves women".. many do.. So his expectations are too high and he "can't find the right companion".. and neither do many.. so he judges women based on superficial criteria.. don't tell me you've never been to a strip joint..

Yes, you could argue that he destroys the morale of this discussion board.. Yes, you could say that his behaviour is unacceptable as he is the reason why certain stereotypes exist.. Yes, we just generally don't like posts of this sort because they destroy the illusion that the world is perfect..

But then there are a lot of people whose behaviour is not guided by the code of ethics.. However, it does not mean that they are going to take over the world, so to speak.. And allowing such posts on this discussion board will only serve to increase awareness among those of us who think that things like that do not happen often (including the RW who sometimes fall victim to individuals like Pike)..

I wanted to find proofs of the absence of the latter.

Obviously the author of the TR sets a beauty bar very high. He admits that he can not do without physical attraction. I still have yet to see where he touches on the point that he is ready to diminish the emotional part. The fact that he is extremely choosy in appearances never means that he would be willing to accept lack of emotional part.

Having said that, may I remind of the passage where he tells on one lady who appeared to be quite unattractive. But after having spent some time with her, Pike apparently noticed her intangible attractivity. He did not ignored it. He read up exactly her etherial qualities in a short time. That, in my opinion, speaks quite good for him.

Please also keep in mind that I have no reasons to defend Pike. I just make my opinion based on proofs, that's it. If I see proofs on the contrary, no problems for me to change my opinion.
Also I do not want to make others think like me. Just deliver my interpretation.

Very good point Yulz. Emotional involvement comes slower than physical one. May be for men this is more true than for women. Emotions need some time.

You judge Pike based on his one report of his recent trip to Dnepropetrovsk.  If this is his only report, then i agree with you.  However, read more.

He knows the Planet love people.  He has been doing this for 5, 6, 7... years.  And he has yet to find one woman with whom he wants an exclusive relationship, to file a K-1.  Not one woman.  What does that say?   It is a pattern that repeats itself, and Pike's DNP report is just the latest example.

That is why I contend that Pike is a sexual tourist.  Not only that, I contend he is a sexual addict as demonstrated by his  multiple sexual partners, one-night stands,  phone sex, exhibitionism (giving a woman an orgasm while riding a crowded public bus), obsessive dating through personal ads, and voyeurism (filming teenagers playing with nipples).

I said he is not looking for emotional relationship (not "he lacked emotional involvement").    He avoids emotional involvement.  Show me one example in the many years of sleeping with FSU women.  In his DNP report, he met one woman who he could talk with for hours and hours.  Yet, he sent her away because she did not turn him on sexually.  She had to be attractive because he saw her photo and invited her to his apartment.  I and perhaps many other men would probably keep that woman around because she has potential to be a life partner.  After learning more, we may not like her, and we never had emotional feelings, but we would give the two of us a chance.

I will make my point using an example.

My example you say that my trip report ruins women and mens reputations. It DOES NOT DO THIS. You can't state a single place in my report that does this in anyway.
All you would have to do is to find something offensive and say "look at what Bill wrote it is offensive."

7. I am constantly criticised by women because I will not date those that are pleasantly plump and beyond.  But it is very simple.  My equipment will not perform for such women.  They contend that if I want sex enough, everything will work.  However, it is not true; at least for me.

Not, about the spike behaviour... if he was really a sex tourist, seeking only physical relation, why he have stop the dating with some women when they have stop to please him... and when i say please, i don't mean physical... how much time don't he wrote that a lady have make a reply to him who have not please him and that he have choose to stop with her... A really sex tourist will not care about a women asking question about money given to his children, about critic of his home, etc.... the only interest that a sex tourist have is that the lady open her legs...

I don't really wish read again the Pike report for find the evidence... but all these who have read it cannot refute that Pike have stop the dating with some women because of the question/reply of these women... behaviour who have nothing to make with a sex tourist who wish lay down each women that he think attractive ( in the physical term )...
