Kherson what to do/visit?
« on: June 30, 2007, 05:09:11 PM »
I am just going to be in Kherson for 11 days and Nikoleav for 10 and would like to know from guys who have been there what worth to be visited, well I mean museums and so on. Not much I think, but nevertheless opinions are welcome

So many  days away from a gym will be a scary experience to my belly ;D but I think  walking a lot could help me a lot to burn the fat from Ukrainian food

Cheers

Nando
Having just returned a few weeks ago after a 5 day/4 night trip to Kherson, I think you might be hard pushed to spend the full 11 days there.
I have to say, I enjoyed just chilling there! , walking around the central part of town, walking down to the port/river area etc, theres quite a few nice places for coffee and I was suprised that there were  a few"quality" restaurants, but I had very good company, so I had little need for any other distractions.
Are you meeting a lady there?? If not, just sitting around the square, across from the statue of Lenin will provide an interesting observation of the amount of attractive ladies that come and go through this city. (Or just walk around the big UYM supermarket, I could gladly have spent the day in there just gawking at the ladies in walking around it!!)
Do you like beaches??, we had a great day at the Black Sea, it was about 2 - 2.30 hours away in a taxi ($60.00 return) and a nice drive there and back.

Thanks guys,

I will be there and meeting more then a woman. The last two times I tried to meet only one, things were a disaster even after talking with them on the phone for quite some time. One stop answering the phone one day before booking tickets and the other begin to post pone meeting :wallbash:
So no more VO :D

"Can we meet at the gym" is not the best place to date a woman ;D while going to the beach is one good way to wash eyes 8)

What beach did go in the Black Sea carraig?

Nikolaev has a nice walk along the river. The relatively small city center is also nice to visit. In Kherson, there is also a nice river walk.
