I want to contribute to the education of potential scam victims.  Im going to post from first contact and all emails to conclusion the scam that touched my life. It is still unfolding. There has been no request for money as yet but Im convinced its a scam. Lets break the communication down and see if we can conclude with certainty at what point the future victim should stop communication. Sounds like productive fun to me.

I was very happy that your message to me was very long. It shows me how serious you are.

To answer some of your questions:
I am 43 years old. I am from the USA in the state of Pennsylvania and the city of Pittsburgh.
I am a Electrical Power Generation Engineer, A USA Commercial Licensed Ships Captain, I fly small private planes and have a strong medical back ground. I own a small company that rents generators and is developing alternative fuels for power generation. We are very busy but not a large rich company. If you need a man with a lot of money, I would be the wrong man. Many women measure a man by how much money he has. I wanted to be honest with you from the beginning.
 
I was married for 14 years. I have two boys ages 12 and 13. I love my sons more than anything in the world. I agree with your view on children. They are the treasures of the world.

Its very nice you are a Doctor. I have recently thought about attending law school. As an Engineer and Ships Captain, I believe my profession will be more difficult in my older years. So, I think being a lawyer is a good profession in older years.

The only value may be cathartic, IMHO. Sorry to sound jaded, TC, but it's a lot of déja vu from the very first letter.

1. Diffidence/novelty in using the Internet (playing the innocent).
2. No home PC, Internet Café (preparing the ground for $ request).
3. Irregular writing (busy with other scammees).
4. Female intuition (Oh, yes, flattering)
5. "therefore we can learn about each other better, only through our letters" (forestalling your request for her phone number).
6. Single orphan daughter, small apartment (preparing for pityful stories).
7."I very like my work, because I love children" etc. (and she showed no reaction at your having 2 ?).

I agree that sometimes different languages and communication over the internet can cause confusion about the meaning. I will try my best to be clear on what I say.

I enjoy the way you write English. I can almost hear the Russian accent I have seen so many times in movies.

Thank you for telling me about why you do not seek Russian husband. I understand what you say. Someday when you feel comfortable about it, I would like to hear about your like with men and problems you have experienced. But I can wait for that. No rush.

I was married for 14 years. When I married the woman, she was a great woman. But I made a big mistake. I allowed her to freely have friends with anyone and never discipline her for disrespect. Her friends had very bad relationships with men. I think my wife learned very bad things from them. Our marriage started having big trouble about the 12th year. I still do not 100% understand it. I never hit my wife or argue too much. I provide good home and money. I give her 100% freedom and we have two great boys. I dont understand her problem.

Today I want tell you about my work, and about my household days.
Worker days in Russia it is Monday - Friday (on Saturday and on Sunday everyone have a rest).
My work day is start:
I wake up at 06.00
I at once wash and I enjoy working out at the gym.
And after wash I prepare my breakfast.
For a breakfast I usually drink tea with a lemon and a small sandwich with sausage or cheese, sometimes I eat fried eggs
for a breakfast.
On all this I spend hour.
At 07.00 I go on a bus-stop that to reach by 08.00 to my work.
At 08.00 my working day is begins.
All doctors and nurses gather in office-room of a chief-doctor.
This our general-meeting, but between us we speak that we gather on "Planerka" on English this word is not translated.
We discuss all questions concerning the working day, and also a night-duty doctor reports for night work.
(sometimes I work in a night, but sometimes I work on week end).
A chief-doctor gives to us the order and the recommendation for all work day.
After we go with doctors on check of our patients which are on treatment directly in hospital.
We check our patients and we make of a decision on their treatment.
Or on the contrary, we conclude that the child is healthy and we let off them to home.
After check of patients I go to my office-room.
At 10.00 I begin reception of sick children.
If children very small together with them come a parents.
I know from my childhood, that children very much are afraid of doctors.
But for my patients I have in my office-room many various toys, basically are soft toys.
The majority of these toys I was presented by parents of children whom I have cured.
Therefore, when children come to me and see many toys, the toys distract of them and they are not afraid.
So I can quietly examine the child and define than the child is sick.
Both to make the conclusion, and to write medicines which are necessary for treatment.
But if I see, that the child is seriously sick, I accept the decision for his hospitalization.
From 12.00 - 14.00 I have a dinner.
I eat in a small cafe near with my work.
Sometimes at this time I write you, but sometimes I write you in the morning or in the evening.
With 14.00-16.00 I continue reception of patients in my office-room.
At 16.00 hospitalized patients of our polyclinic wake up and I do repeated detour of my patients.
At 17.00 my working day is comes to end and I go at home.

I have supper at 19.00 and further I look TV.
I like to look various films basically this is a comedies, TV-news, entertaining TV programs. Programs about animals.
And at 22.00 I lie down to sleep.

Now coldly and park for a long time to walk it is impossible, because it is possible to catch a cold.

I leave on street only for visiting a shop to purchase of products.

Nastya is correct about meeting men on the Internet. Most of them are looking for sex and nude photo's. I am a healthy male that also likes women and sex. I understand a man's need for females and sex. But I do not understand people getting sex and nude photo's on the Internet. To me this has no value and is a waste of time. My daily routine is very long. I work 7 days a week from 7:00am to 23:00pm. I own the company but I still work long hours. This is my choice . I love my work.   I work with power and generators and alternative fuel. I burn coconut oil to make electricity and use wind power for electricity. Power generation is my passion.

 

I teach my sons my trade. I hope someday they will be great engineers. They are very smart and do well in school. I am a very proud father.

 

My hobbies are mostly in my work. But I also enjoy fishing, billiards, ping pong and working out at the gym.

 

Nadya, you are a very nice lady. Im excited to have a good friend like you. Maybe someday we will become very close and more than friends. Have you ever been to other countries outside Russia? I have been to Australia, Philippians, Korea, Japan, Canada and Mexico. I had planned a trip to Russia in 1991 but canceled due to work.

At our school taught two languages: English and German.
But to us gave a choice, our teachers asked from us what language we want to study.

I was born here in city Zelenodolsk in same hospital where I now work.
My mum has worked a nurse all life in this hospital.
I all time live here and never have left ours Tatarstan Ripablic.
In Russia the school education occupies 10 years.
School year begins 1 of September and comes to end in May.
In the summer all schoolboys have a rest.
In higher educational institutions (it in Institutes and at Universities) academic year is similar school year.
I have finished school well, therefore I at once without problems begun a study in the Kazan Medical Institute.
I already wrote to you that Kazan is capital of our Republic.
I city Zelenodolsk is located in 20 kilometers from Kazan.
Therefore, when I studied in Institute, I lived in a hostel of our Institute.
We lived with 4 girls - students in the room.
I very much missed without my mum, but I could come to her only on days off (in  Saturday and Sunday).
I have chosen Medical Institute , probable, because my mum worked in hospital.
And I since the childhood dreamed to be doctor.
I without problems have gone to work in our hospital because in rural hospitals, there are no experts.
All young experts want to work in city hospitals.
Because in city hospitals the new equipment and higher salary.
As speak about rural doctors they are patriots of the affair.
But I do not want to complain, because I very like my work.
I think, that very important do that you do are professionally, and qualitatively, and to put in it all soul.

I am always very happy to hear from you. I understand that the language difference sometimes is confusing. Thats why Im not telling jokes to you. Because you may not understand them.

My work day is always busy. I wake up early and have coffee while I check email. Usually around 0700am. I work on accounting and administration until about 1000am. Then I go on the road to meet customers and do business. About 1300pm, I try to start collecting money from customers and do banking. At 1600pm, I check on my workers and do maintenance of machines as required. At 1800pm I come home and file documents and check email again. I eat dinner and watch TV. Sometimes I work late till 2200pm before bed. I work everyday because I love my job. Every day is different but you get the idea.

I checked your weather in Zelenodolsk. It appears to be cool, about 18 C and cloudy with small rain on Thursday. Is that correct?
Do you live near the Volga River?

Her groom, but already her husband, long time dreamed to find a wife from Russia.
He knew, Russian women - very devoted wives and that we very good mistresses in the house,
i.e. all Russian women very well prepare.
But he has been surprised, a variety of dishes which is able to prepare for him Nastya.
In Russia speak, that the woman likes by ears.
But a way to heart of the man, the woman can receive, through a stomach of the man.
I.e. for the man is important not only exterior of the woman,
her inner world and understanding, but also that as far as she the good cook .
I am right?
I want to tell about dishes which I like to eat and prepare.
I like soups, fry meat, a fish, a bird, cutlets, mushrooms.
I like to cook mashed potatoes, pel'menis, salads, okroshka,
omlet, rassolnik, golubtsi, ploff, leche, varennik,
I like to bake a cake, pies, pancakes etc.
I can list all this infinitely.
I shall describe to you some Russian dishes that you knew about it.
Because I know that you use FAST FOOD.
From the first dishes I love a soup it's a borsch.
Borsch this is a soup with boiled beet, a potato, meat, cabbage, onions, pepper and a bay leaf.
This is very tasty soup, and it is very useful,
especially in the winter because it contains many vitamins.
On the second dish I am able to prepare Golubtsy.
Golubtsy it is meat mince with the onions,
wrapped up in cabbage sheets and stewed in an oven.
It is incredibly tasty dish. It sounds much worse than it is actually.
From dessert dishes I very much like a okroshka.
The basic components of okroshka: sausage, hard-boiled eggs, boiled potato, cucumbers.
From all these products is done a salad and all of this is filled in - kvass.
I am sure that kvass cook only in Russia.
Kvass is a freshening drink, which cooks from a mix of rye and barley malt,
rye flour or rye zwiebacks, sugar and water with the subsequent fermentation.
But it is not an alcoholic drink!
Certainly, I do not eat these dishes, daily,
simply I wanted to describe to you some Russian dishes.
I am able to prepare and many other dishes simply on their description I need a lot of time.
But if you were the visitor in my house I would prepare for you all this is dishes.
And we would have a romantic supper together with you, my dear friend.
I am now very lonely, but as it will be pleasant, come back at home from work and to see your lover man.
Prepare for him a dinner or a supper.
I very want, that my future husband came back at home a tired has seen me and has smiled to me.

Firstly; I am not a violent man. I do not like to argue or fight. In 14 years marriage to my ex-wife, I never hit her. It was her that always argued with me. I do not like this. Therefore, I desire a very obedient woman to her husband. I need a woman that respects her husband never to argue. Nadya, that is most important to me. Each time you write me emails, I am very happy. Your photo's are amazing and beautiful too. I thank you for that.

This day I am very busy with my sons. So I can not write you a long email. I am sorry to hear that you have lost contact with Nastya. I would like very much to have spoken with her.

I showed your photo to my good friend. The said you look like my sister and maybe we are a relation. That is very funny but I do see some similar features in our eyes and face. Maybe you are my long lost sister? Very funny.

Do you have brothers and sisters? I have 2 sisters. I am the oldest.

My mother and father are both alive. However they are divorced since I was 7 years old. Both my sisters are married. My youngest sister is a medical person for Bayer Medical Facility. She tests new medicine on people in an effort to get Government approval of the medication for sale.

Im curious how the feelings Russian people have now for Americans. For many years in the old days 1940-1975, Russian Federation and the United States were enemies. I never met Russian people but thats what we were taught in school. Now I meet Russian people and I like them very much. Very similar too me. Funny how the world grows. Now I have Russian Girl friend and maybe Half Russian children in future. Very funny.

Well. thats it so far. Im expecting a note from her tonight.

So far She is a Doctor with no phone, lives a lone, mother is dead and doesn't know her father.

She had a close friend who married an American man but when I suggested I meet up with them on my next business trip she said she doesn't hear from her anymore.
