Latest Harry Potter - Spoiler!!!
« on: July 21, 2007, 04:09:24 PM »
Well, some woman read it this morning in like 20 mins cos she the world record speed reader. My daughter got it this morning and finished it after about six hours.

Apparently, what happens is Hermoine is lying in bed waiting to be serviced by Harry, but he emerges from the shower as if it never happened.

It seems they were actually both 35 year old Java programmers from Boise, Indiana all along.

I knew, I bloody knew it!

Well, I'm not really 22.....

I'm forty-bloody-six!!

I lied about my age to get an RWD free 21st birthday greeting, how sad am I? However, I know Lily and Jazzyclassy prefer the older gentleman so now the cat's out of the proverbial bag, how bout it girls if our current inamorati drop out....?

My email is desparate_for_a_shag@hotrussianbonerbabes.co.uk

My mum is out at bingo on wednesday night so maybe you could both pop round for a cup of tea?

The real book, much like 'STE's.' tale leaves an opening for more details in the novel to come back in the future. The novel being the slightly less sordid of the two... ;D

And another thing, gf is the wrong term, we've lived together since Aug 2005, so much so she fully understands the dynamic and undercurrent in every episode of Coronation Street, she is unwilling to journey home end of this month, for fear of not knowing what happens twitx Clur, Asheah and Casey...

I have watched Harry Potter yesterday  the 5- th movie the Order of phoenix it was really amuzing and nice I liked it , they all grew up so much and there is something special about them all , also there were many hularious moments and it is trully a British Masterpiece of the recent years :) I think Harry Potter is not necessarily for kids cos its really complicated to read in the way that there are a lot of actions and a lot of characters which are connected to each other by these or that mysterious way and for a little child let say 9 -10 year old it is hard to remember all those events in order to follow the plot of the story , so I would specify that Harry Potter is for teenagers starting from 15-16 and up

If anyone is really interested there is a link to a retelling of the last book of Harry Potter and Deathly Hallows :

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harry_Potter:_Book_Seven

I also thought it strange that Ste was 22 hahaha I knew there was something hilarious about that:))))) Dear Ste why not to tell your real age:) you should not be ashamed of your age, there is nothing you can do about it, no matter how young we want to be the time is passing by and we can not stop it, life is life, so age is age, why to be scared of it:)

I am sure Harry Potter is for any age  anyway:)

Ste

Shame on you for corrupting an innocent, young, beautiful and vulnerable Russian (most likely Siberian) lass and turning her into a Corrie fan (or at least failing to prevent this tragedy) :)

She loves it! We have to watch:

1. Friday Night with Jonathan Ross

2. Project Catwalk

3. Grumpy Old Men

It's great see that at 24 yo she see's so much of herself in 'Grumpy Old Men'! Probably see's me too....

Is there an apostrophe in 'sees'?

I suppose you know there is the sequel 'Grumpier Old Men' with Sophia Loren and "Catfish Hunter"? Every bit as good as the first.

I've been to Wabasha, Minnesota.

Actually Maxx I was meaning the UK TV series featuring the likes of Rick Wakeman complaining about traffic wardens, mobiles phones, ipods, cctv, one-way systems, shopkeepers, cinema, music, immigrants, Christmas, holidays, tourists, Wales, spam, the internet, everything!

Really sardonic...

I'll see if I can download it someplace. I tried http://stage6.divx.com/ and did a word search on "grumpy" but got nothing. Thanks though for the responce.

Still have an interest in WW2? There is allot of the BBC's 1974 "World at War" series uploaded on that site. Something about the music, the opening credit flames and Lawrence Olivia's droll voice can sure put a guy in a mood.

The World At War is on one of the channels here now most nights - still watch it!

I'm collecting stuff about Hitler and the Battle for Berlin now. Here's a site where u can download loads of British Comedy;

I recommend Men Behaving Badly, excellent!!!

I always thought that if a person was going to lie about their age, better to claim that they are older.  Much nicer to have someone say sincerely, "Boy, you look great for your age", then to have them think, "Boy, he/she hasn't aged very well."
