FINALLY! The Member Map is Back !!

After several months of doing without our Member Map, the feature is now restored and seems fully-functional!

For everyone who joined in the last several months - and anyone who would like their country's flag to appear in their posts, please visit the Member Map, select one of the maps from the drop-down (makes the next step easier), and then use the "Place Your Pin" option to put your 'dot' on the map. The system will automatically include your country map from the information you provide.

One of the nicest benefits of the Member Map is that if many members use it, locating people who live in your immediate area is MUCH easier.

i saw the map, didn't get an error message, but where are the pins?

Phil,

Looks like your 'pin' is already there - but do this:

From the Member Map page - select Russia from the drop-down, and click "View"

You should see a map of Russia just like the screenshot I have attached.

Looking at that screenshot, you can see where my cursor is - at the "Place your Pin" link.

Clicking on that link will allow you to initially place, or move, your pin.

Not working for me ... keeps telling me to click on the map to place my pin ... I click on my area but nothing happens ...

Have you selected the country? Its been awhile since I set my pin but IIRC the first time I did it I had not set the country so even through my pin was in the US my flag was Afghanistan.
