I have noticed Russian women that say: I got drunked for I got drunk and thanks God for thank God.

Can you think of more examples?

I complemented Tatyana's figure by saying it and sliding my hand over her body (fully dressed) and she said in Russian "Once more". I thought it was cute.

I think I might have mentioned this a long time ago but a Ukrainian gal I tried to help last year had a really favorite place she liked to stop for coffee.   "Drunken Donuts".

"mosna bulsha?" is something J says frequently.

when i asked a russian lady how they can walk in such high heels, she said something in russian that sounds like "beauty requires sacrifice".

anono,

"Mosna bulsha" means you have a big wallet, be very careful here.  (It could also mean you have big testacies, take your choice)

Yes When somebody asks you потрясти мошной be sure what actally you should to do:P:D

Что общего в любви с монетой звонкой?
 Ищи в ассоциации смешной:
 Когда нам тяжелей
 трясти мошонкой,
 Приходиться сильней трясти мошной.
:D

What the general in love with a coin sonorous?
Search in association ridiculous:
When to us is heavier to shake moshonkoj,
To have to shake more strongly a purse.

Is this close? IM translator is not exactly human.

Yes you translated right

Ps moshna(мошна stress at a) - a purse which was carried in front in such way that it covered man's "pride"

moshonka (мошонка - stress at second o)-testacies

Don't confuse these words:P

Elen,

So, Rocky Mountain Oysters, as we call them in America, would be "govyadina moshonka", yes?

well I didn't wnat to fall into anatomic details in my explanation:D ( and had'not vocabulary at my hand) but "moshonka" is not actually the "balls"  but a "bag" - scrotum - where those balls are placed

So I supposed it would be "bych'i yaitza"- "бычьи яйца" (PS the word "govyadina" has "female" gender in Russian language:D) ( if I got right what you said)

One girl I used to talk to would always say " I stood up in bed" or I stood in bed" which meant she had gotten up from sleep. I could always imagine her standing up in the middle of the bed and it made me laugh.

"Hand up clothes" - hang up clothes.
"Go by legs" - going to walk.
"It is not I am.." - wasn't me (not my fault).
"It is you are.." - was you (was your fault).
"Go and Stop car" - car has automatic transmission.

all too cute to correct..

Rvr,

I eat "smashed pototoes" at least once a week.  Not too bad either.  She mixes in a fry pan of sauteed in butter onions and folds in plenty of smetana instead of milk for additional flavor.  I know it's a real artery clogger, but I love it made that way.

My Russian ex-wife used to say

"Look! We have little animals!" for a small bug walking across the stove and then...."It not like me!" for I 'don't like it!'

The new Moscow lady I am writing to wrote this
Quote

We still remember the story which happend several years ago than one Moscow's familiy had a tiger and lion at home. They growed animals from the puppies and they treat them as homes' pets. There were some articles in newspapers how peaceful this family live. But one day animal became angry and eated the whole family.

In correcting her English I will need to tell her lions, tigers, bears and wolves have cubs. Cats have kittens and dogs have puppies. But hey isn't better to leave well enough alone? :cool:

There are a million

Gamburger = Hamburger

The plural for Month is Month-es
Nothing is pronounced Nuh-sing

If I give an excellent reason not to do something. She will reply AND......
meaning that it wasn't a valid reason by itself not to do something and I
needed more valid reasons to win her to my side.

W's and V's are totally interchangeable. Very becomes Wery

There is NO short I

My name is Beel, I can walk up the heeel in my heels.

Will = Weeel
Hill = Heeel
Kill = Keeel
The statement Keeel Beeel usually involves my demise, not the movie
or a part of a boat.

Angel Eyes looks at my suitcase back when I used to visit her in Russian
and where I haphazardly throw my clothes for the trip back to the USA
and says......

"Teep eee cul man" (Typical man) , and she takes everything out and
totally rearranges it.

Later I look in my suitcase and it looks like it could be in a luggage
advertisement. Everything is pressed, separated by color, size and
several other criteria that I am not able to determine.

Now that I'm married, I am not in charge of my suitcase except putting
it in the car, I just look at it to see what I want, that she skipped over.
She might decide that I don't need a pair of jeans or a pair of shorts
for example on a trip, when I know that I do.

Gamburger = Hamburger
гамбургер---you know the г is a g sound in the Cyrillic ...so in Russian it is indeed a gamburger! Thanks for making me hungry.

Not uniformly.  In Ukrainian, г is an "h" sound.
After the fall of communism, the biggest mistake Boris Yeltsin's regime made was not to disband the KGB altogether. Instead it changed its name to the FSB and, to many observers, morphed into a gangster organisation, eventually headed by master criminal Vladimir Putin. - Gerard Batten
