I think most of you got the jest of this lady. When I got to St. Pete a day later she was a bit angry that I had jet lag. This is nuts. I asked her if it would be OK to take a short nap. I asked her to wake me in an hour. We got to the apartment around 1 PM in the afternoon.
Well, I got up around 8 PM, found her on the phone in the kitchen.
First thing out of her mouth was she wanted to go home.
I said fine, go! She made a few other calls. She may have also called Aeroflot and got the reply that she would have to pay for the return flight to Astrakhan because the flight could not be changed. I knew that because I paid for her ticket and had her pick it up in her city.
I didn't say a word. Nor did she. I know that wasn't the excuse. She got pissed at very trivial things. I wasn't supposed to meet her at Polkovo Airport but when I arrived at the Int. terminal the driver got a call that Inna, her name, was not going to be picked up separate. The driver, who was to pick her up, was unavailable. So we went, since it was an hour after my flight landed.
Well, even at the airport and coming through the gate I tried to suprise her by standing behind her and then in front. Wow, what a dirty look.
From then on I knew she was very different from the person I had been talking to and writing to.
180 degrees.
Again at the apartment, she asked me what I was going to do if she left. "Changing your mind, Inna, I thought to my self." I told her I would be fine. I am a big boy and I can speak and read some Russian. I was fluent one time after the Defense Language Institute while in the Air Force. 25 years ago. Forgot most.
Any way, She stayed and bitched. For three days, "I want to leave." Well, why didn't she go???

She came around after I told her I was very pissed about the situation. It seems like she wanted to be told. I don't know. Very strange.
I told her I was very pissed about her demeanor and behaviour. It changed after that. But not a loving situation. Sex, yes. But....... "This is a family show."
After 10 days she left at 6 AM on a Saturday and I stayed in St. Pete for an extra day on my own. I managed to get around and met some really cute women.
Can you imagine. She called me when she got to the Airport in St. Peter and called me when she got home in Astrakhan. Checking on me??? ???
When I got home it took me only a week to write a nice good bye letter to her.
Then all I got was apologies and "I was stupid." (meaning her behaviour) etc... etc....
She writes me once in a while now. I told her if she would like to continue to communicate I only consider her a friend.
She doesn't ask for money and she never calls me. As a matter of fact, before I met her she only called me twice.
Not very much effort in the relationship from her. Too bad, she is an intelligent woman, and of course very pretty.
I know her ex beat her when in a drunken stupor a few times. She said she was happy to be alive.
She also told me she communicated with a man from Germany for two years from 2000 to 2002. He was in her city and she was in Germany. They made plans for the future, as she put it. But then he cut off all communication.
I can understand the hurt she had been through but haven't we all?
So, I guess this is just an experience to share.
I stopped the internet thing for a while but I will try ONE last time.
