I am a bit confused...

...Clearly the RUA Turboguy and VWRW are the same people as the Turboguy and VWRW here. I just don't understand the discrepancy in dates.

Gabaub... simply read the several thounsand post from Turboguy and VWRW... and you will understand...

Ok, i will explain... it is not the first K1 from VWRW... long time ago, she have date a other American man... The 3 week in US refert to these first K1...

Turbo, i have just read these topic... seem that all is perfect for you and VWRW... about tractor... it is now 5 year that i drive them but i have never have problem... once with a car... only 40 km ride was needed for the first crash !!!

Bruno

You are confusing the issue even further, it can happen if you read thousands of posts.
Do you really believe VWRW was in USA on first K-1 in April 2007?

Many physicists believe that by applying the laws of Quantum physics and inflation it is certain that there are many universes similar to ours where people who are our doubles exist. Perhaps the doubles of VWRW and TG are posting on another forum :)

No... not in April 2007... in April, she wrote "I have been in America for three weeks"... where she mean, that in the past, she have been in US...

I have good memory and i remember the Mila story... once, it was wrote :

Quote
Mila’s story is 90% true and 10% false.
1.   Mila is not relative of wvrw. Mila is past of wvrw.
2.   Mila had happy relationship for 5 years with one of the 3 Russian men.
3.   She was not going to be alone for following 6-8 yeas after she returned from America. She was alone for one year. It was enough to sort out what she wants in life.
Other things, thoughts, events, outcomes and so on were in reality. Mila stopped her existence at July 2006.

Sorry for the confusion.   Bruno did a good job of clarifying it.   VWRW posted in April on another board that she had been in the USA (in the past) for three weeks.   Actually I believe it was 25 days.   That trip was in 2005.   I believe April to be exact.   I have seen the dates but did not pay that much attention.

Bruno, 40 km for your first crash.  You are worse than me.   When I started driving it took me 3 days to get stopped by the police and three weeks to have my first wreck.

Yes, things are going wonderfully.   I had commented to VWRW that our relationship was just the way I always dreamed a relationship could be.  That I liked the closeness, the feeling that we were doing everything together, the oneness we have in our efforts to build a happy life together.   It really makes me feel that I am part of her life and she is part of mine.

She has commented to me that our relationship is just the way she always dreamed a relationship could be.  That it is filled with happiness, romance and closeness and that there is no drama, game playing and turmoil, just two happy people calmly working to make their dreams come true together.

I will add one more thing since we do have an age difference.   At this early stage it has not been a bit of a problem.   I have not seen anyone look at us funny.   Everyone seems to have guessed her to be my fiancee or GF not my grand daughter.  Everyone she has met really thinks she is wonderful and everyone really has accepted her quite well.   My daughter and VWRW seem to have the start of a good friendship.

T/G,

Thanks for the update.

Interesting, the typical abuse that you received at RWD had faltered upon VWRW's arrival, and then you disappeared.    I was beginning to think that you thrive on abuse and had become bored with nothing but good wishes.  :D :D :D

You must be doing something right as VWRW has just broken her record for time in the USA with her fiance.

Thanks Gator.   She keeps me busy enough that I don't have as much time for RWD as I used to.   I get up a little earlier than her so I get a few minutes in the morning.   I think someone who enjoys a relaxing life might have some problems with a RW if they were like VWRW.   That Honey do list does not collect much dust.

Yes we are setting a record and on a roll.  She commented that it is a night a day difference for her this time.  She is much happier, not real homesick and enjoying everything about her life.

Hah!  I can beat that!  I took me 2 minutes and 4 blocks to get stopped by the police and to get my first ticket after getting my driver's license.  I thought yellow meant to speed up!

Best wishes to you guys, Ray.

Turbo,  I am glad to see that things are working out for you. Yes, once your RW is home, you always seem to have things to do that are more important to her than posting on a forum  ::).  Especially in a new house, there always seems to be something to do. But I am happy that things are moving along for both of you.

I always laugh when after an anniversary comes and goes, I write that "well the first year seems to be the hardest." Then another year goes by and I write "well the second year is always the toughest"  and Catzenmouse will comment back, some like "...Well, ummm maybe you want to re-think that" The voice of experience is right again.

Enjoy your first year, it is really a fun time (it was for me) as you prepare to live your life together.

Thanks Voyager and Ken.   So far it has been very easy and very enjoyable.  If it gets tougher we are ready for that.

VWRW just said that the first year is the most important because you are setting the foundations for what your life will be togeter.  I have to agree with that.   We have a really nice relationship together and one of the nice things is that we both seem to get more enjoyment from working together to make our life the way we want it to be than to persue amusements and entertainments.   There is always lots to do.  I do try to check the posts when I can.  I get up a little earlier than VWRW so the morning is one time I can read a litle and post a little but I am not looking for ways to kill time the way I was when she was there and I was here.

Been out of here for a while now - which has to be a very good sign.

I do want to add to the long list of those wishing you and VWRW the very best.

I would love to be able to give you an update filled with exciting details but sometimes day to day life is just that.

VWRW is adapting really well.   Her English which was great is getting even better.    Everyone here seems to think she is wonderful and really enjoys her company.   She still works hard to adapt to life here and to master English.

Things have been smooth.   Once in a while she gets upset with me but it passes very quickly and I never get upset with her.   We really have a great relationship and a lot of our effort has been getting our life where we want it to be.

We will be hosting her first party on Sunday.    She has been cooking dishes that were more American than Russian but wants to cook Blini for the party and with some advice from her mom has been practicing on me.    The good news is I have lived through it all and she is getting it down pretty pat now.   Good, bad or otherwise she gets offended if I don’t try her cooking.

Since we have one of the larger age differences I will say that so far it has not created any problems at all.   I have not noticed anyone staring or looking at us funny or treating us any different than if we had no age difference.

In the last installment we talked about applying for the Social Security number and the computer problems they had.    Despite the assurances the SS office gave us the whole application was lost.   We had to reapply from scratch but 10 days later the card arrived.  In Pennsylvania one of the requirements to get married is a SS Number so we were on hold until it arrived.

Shopping is not easy.   With food she reads every label for calories and analyzes everything.    She spends a lot of time making sure she has the best buy on everything.    My theory is that the more calories the better it will taste.  In her comparisons she would sooner eat something she did not like if it has fewer calories.    She thinks delicious food is like a narcotic and she would sooner not try it.

Thanks SOC, Gator and KenC.

Gator, the SS # actually arrived on Tuesday.  The second time we applied it went much smoother and actually things came faster than they had told us.  Yes, our backup plan was to go to Vegas or Reno to really marry and to have a ceremonial service for everyone here but fortunately the back up plan will not be needed.

In pic #3, VWRW is wearing glasses. TG, you better tell her to take them off or she'll be able to see who she really married!  ;D Great pics TG. Thanks for sharing.

Wow, Turbo, these are great pictures of both of you. She is so stylish and confident.  ;D...and you don't look that old really.  8) Your avatar picture I would say is a little different than this one. Here you have such a cute boyish smile.  :D I am really glad for your happiness together with VWRW.

Nice pictures TG. I kept wondering though... who it that ugly guy? Must be some neighbor or a friend I guess... 8)

Really happy to hear that things are going well for you both. If you ever get your collective butts up this way we'd love to get together.

Billy, she got the glasses right before she came to America so it was too little, to late.   Probably was a big shock when she wore them and saw with 20-20 vision what she got herself into.

Thanks Anastassia.   She seems as happy as any woman can be and I will do my best to keep it that way.

Glad you like the carpet Viking and Spanky.   When I get tired of it I will send it to you.

Ken, would love to get up that way and get together with you.   I get most everywhere sooner or later and if Madison ever is in our path we will make sure to give you a holler.

T/G and VWRW - I liked your pictures very much.  When we were married in Pennsylvania there was not this requirement to have social security number.  It would have been an added layer of pressure on us if having this SSN for marriage had been a requirement when we approached the lovely, smiling and quite helpful faces at our local office.  ::)
