Girl that I'm interested in from Nikolaev says that her favorite professor is Dr. Gigulina, who teaches technology of shipbuilding, at NUS. Can anyone confirm that professor's name or one with a similar name at NUS? My internet search of that name from yahoo came up blank.

In the past you tried to verify the existence of an address of a lady in Dnepropetrovsk. You tired to send roses to the lady to verify her existence. Later you might have been thinking of visiting a lady in Lugansk since you wanted recommendations of interpretors who worked there. Now you're trying to verify the existence of a professor to determine the credibility of a lady Nikolaev. Eric, you've been on this forum for over two years and I suggest you do more reading. You do not need to be paranoid and you do not need to waste massive amounts of time to verify the existence of a woman. Many times it's been said here, get on the phone with a woman and call her often. If she does not have interest in you or does not exist, he/she will not give you her number, if she does give you her number, she will not be enthusiastic about you calling all the time if she is a scammer or not into you. Find a woman who's into you and happy to receive your calls and visit her.

Paranoia will destroya. And your paranoia will be sensed women you meet and it will be a turnoff to them. What would you think of a person who has to verify every word you speak, verify where you live and even verify your existence? Strange, normal or the behavior that will make people fall in love with you?

The name Gigulina lead me to some Russian sites. If the doctor's name appears on any websites at all, the name may be written in Russian instead of the English translation. If you can't find any proof a Dr. Gigulian exists, don't let it eat you up and get a good night's sleep. Your Dallas Cowboys are 5-0 and got a big game Sunday against the 5-0 New England Patriots. I appreciate all your feedback. I do not have the girl's phone number or address. I am trying to get that information which she said she would release to me through the agency. The site is Hot Russian Brides which I know has a questionable reputation. The girl is young and very attractive and I am obviously willing to sacrifice some money on her and the agency which I have already done. I have exchanged emails with her and chatted with her on video several times. Is she real and honest? I need her personal contact information. Am I worried or paranoid about this? No, I am simply very interested in this girl and am trying to find out if she is legitimate.

I think sending roses and getting the girl's photograph is a great way to confirm a woman's identity and address initially as long as one doesn't mind spending the money. The girl in Dnepropetrovsk was most likely a pretender. Initially they called the girl and were about to make delivery but then she called back the flower delivery service and said she had a family emergency where she had to leave home. After that, they repeatedly tried to make delivery to the girl but could not. They thought the girl was hanging up on them. The agency later said that the girl had found a man. I didn't buy the family emergency story. I don't remember about the girl in Lugansk.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are my team. I don't mind the Cowboys though. In fact the Steelers and Cowboys are serious super bowl rivals.

At least you know what you're up against to chase your dream girl. You really need to read more here or at the agency you're using to understand what it's going to cost you to get contact info or even get a date with a woman at HRB. Man, they can't even get their hype straight. How can the women be "exceptionally beautiful" and not "place undue importance on age or outward appearance"? Being "exceptionally beautiful" takes a lot of effort and to do it requires placing undue importance on their own outward appearance. Read HRB testamonials above and at the end of members letter, click on the "pic" to see the couple. I don't see any young hot eye candy married to their members. No "premier" woman on the site is in the testamonials. Are the young hot chicks plastered all over the site available for marriage or do they have local boyfriends and just working their job at the agency 2 AM in the morning chatting up a storm with guys much older than them? Of course these men have to pay to play by the minute while the young hotties stroke their ego. I wonder if it's cheaper than phone sex?

Exactly, I know my limitations and weaknesses, I did my homework and used the brain God gave me to figure out AWeb. That's why I will never use AWeb and get destroyed emotionally and financially. If you think you've got the talent and smarts to walk through a mine field, just remember Proverbs 16:18

Ok Billy. I am glad to see your reply. This is a reason I will thoroughly check out each girl before I get involved with her. If she says she is a student then I will confirm it because some of these girls will use that as a cover. For example, the girl is really an agency girl, some other kind of pretender, prostitute, and so on but says she is a "law student". I understand the complaints about this agency.

If you are going to use Aweb than chances are you won't be talking to the woman.

My wife was looking for a part time job to keep her busy.  She wanted something that she could use English with.  Well most of the recruiters sent her to marriage agencies.  One was an aweb branch here in Odessa. 

The job was basically writing letters for the women and answering calls pretending she was the woman.  Her job would have been to make the men fall in love with her so they would travel.  They wanted her to take home a bunch of cell phones with the ladies names and some information on the back of them.  Most of the ladies had husbands or boyfriends. 

You can live in the fantasy world and think you are talking to the picture or you can live in reality and pick another agency.

The cell phone angle is interesting. In Russia, people often have a number of cell phone numbers: they can easily switch SIM cards and change from one company to another. A home phone number, however, is something else. It can't be changed easily and there are even web sites where you can check to see who the phone number is registered to in some of the larger cities such as Moscow. I would be wary if I had been talking to a woman for weeks or more and I still did not have a home phone number.

I won't be going anywhere without the girl's full contact information. I have no plans to use them for travel. I don't trust them but I still think there are possibilities if I can get the girl's contact info or other girl's contact info.

Thanks to another poster, here's a gps cell phone tracking system site that will track a cell phone in any country of the world. It's free to use and recommended by police to locate missing persons.

You can track your girls. If they say they are at college at 9 AM in the morning weekdays, just type in their cell number at the site to find out if they are where they say they are.

If they say they're home at 11 PM at night asleep every night, verify it. They could be at another apartment banging boyfriend number 4.

If you don't have a girl's cell number now, just type in your friend's number or your own number to see how the site works. I did and I can see the roof of my house and cars parked outside.

Eric, the biggest problem I see with you using AWeb is that you know you will be doing business with a very corrupt company and they will make money. It is disturbing to me as you are a guy who quotes from the bible. You should know better, if you lay in bed with the devil, he will fukc you.
