Hello,
Yesterday Kuna achieved his one year membership if I read the date properly in the members section. You accomplished a lot in one year and made an average of just under five posts per day on a 365 day basis.
Maybe Dan will send you the RWD lapel pin and a certificate for Hero status..lol
Congratulations and best of luck in future.

Thank you for noticing....
It's incredible and I had similar thoughts myself.
When driving home from my mothers house on Monday night (her birthday) I stopped at some traffic lights and looked at My Girl sitting next to me. It was at about the same place that one year earlier I had thought to myself, "Stuff it, when I go on holidays I will try to meet someone and maybe if things work out we might marry."
That night I found RWD, joined and started reading.
Three months later I took my trip and met My Girl on my first day in Kiev. We had a few great days together and then I went off doing other things but she sent me an email saying she wanted to see me again before I returned to Oz.
I went down to Dnepr... she came back to Kiev... I returned home... and the communication was constant, intense and of the highest quality.
A few things happened and I decided to return in May and on that trip I met all the family (the 8 of us stayed in her apartment while the family was down from Moscow)... and after they left we continued our time together.
This time the daily emails were from My Girl and my FBIL. The phone calls were mostly to My Girl but there were a few between me and the family in Moscow. Cards, letters and SMS's were flying between our three cities. I remember laying in bed on the ight of my birthday and an SMS arrived on my phone. I wondered who would message so late but was very happy when I saw it was from the family in Moscow. It's nice to know them so well.
A few months later we submitted our paperwork and planned my Christmas trip because we knew we were in for a wait of 5 - 10 months. A week and a half later the Embassy called My Girl and told her that her visa was approved IF she could be in Australia by October 5. Three weeks later she was with me.
So... it's taken a year, much reading and posting in RWD... many phone calls and emails with RWD members... and a hell of a lot of work on our relationship.
A little after lunchtime yesterday I received an email from My Girl and it simply said, "My Darling, I am very happy. Thank you. My dreams are all true. Love always."
In some ways it seems not possible - especially after hearing what so many others go through but for me... no, for us... it was possible. Why? Many reasons I think and I'll continue to try to share some of my experience with others who want to marry a FSUW.

Oh... five posts a day... That reminds me again to thank those that also have a high posting rate... jb, KenC, Catzenmouse, Scottincrimea and I/O. Of course there are many others but these guys are probably the foundation of the RWD brains trust... and a big reason for my success comes from their experience.
