I agree. I was looking at the stats recently for obesity in the United States. Roughly a third of of American women are obese and roughly a third of American men are obese. Also, there are more overweight men than overweight women in the United States.

First of all, let me apologize, - I posted here on a link from somewhere else with the idea that that this would be a comment on a certain subject. Only later did I notice that it was a separate topic on the forum and quite old at that.

Second - I rarely get offended by careless rudeness, but this is the fourth time, that instead of Wienerin I'm being called a "winer". Enough is enough, eh?

I just want to give a European input to this. I live in the Aland Islands, a group of islands in the Baltic Sea, belonging to Finland, but Swedish speaking. The population is small here and after my divorce, I think I dated all the interesting girls on our local dating site. But with such a small "supply" of course nothing felt right. So I started to try the Swedish dating sites, with no result at all. I concider myself a normal guy, decent looking, good career, good values and so on. After sending intruduction letters to a lot of women, without even one answer, I decided to give it up. The only letters I got on that site were from 40+ women with multiple kids.

I guess the difference to AW is just a matter of degree. I dont think obesity is quite as common as in the US, yet. But any woman that have a very ordinary look demands a Brad Pitt looking guy, even to send an answer to you.

I would be perfectly happy to date a moderatly good looking girl from Sweden, in child bearing age, since I want more kids. But the fact is that they have pushed me away for good now. I will not beg for attention. I know I am a good man for any girl, but right now I feel that my options are better abroad (FSU, Latin; Asian)

Well enough ranting, I really feel like a looser when I read my post, but that is really the way also Scandinavian women makes a man feel.
