I am proud to announce the birth of Sevastyn Daniel Reed at 1:15am Sumy time
(6:15pm EST) weight 3kg 400grams, length 50cm (19.69")  :) :) :) :) ;D ;D ;D 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)

Congratulations!!!!!!!!! Nothing sweeter in the world than the smell of a new person. I wish you and your lovely lady all the best. PS. Fatherhood is a blast. Remember to teach Daniel to say MAMA. It should be his first word. That way when he wakes up at 2AM and yells mama, you can saw "Honey, he is calling you" and then roll over and go back to sleep.  ;)

Thank you everyone for your well wishes mom and baby are doing just great Lena says hes a good eater and an exact copy of me.  Afraid no pics for a few days as she won't be getting home from the hospital until Sunday or Monday.  In Ukraine they keep mom and baby in the hospital for three or four days after delivery and no visitors.  So her mom is going a little crazy not being able to see her newest grandchild.

No Scott not pediatric questions just CR-1 questions.  It's a lot easier once their outside to figure out whats going on :)  By the way the umbilical cord moved so no problems :) :)

As for me it will be January before I can go again so I can get my mits on the little bugger :( of course then there's the wait for bloody visa so we can all be together.

No Gator I have a sixteen year old boy and a fourteen old girl from my first marriage. Lena has a eight year old son and now we have Seva So Iguess I could say it's my three sons  ;)

Here's an updat, mom and son are home from the hospital Hurrah!!! Everyone is doing great. Lena is very happy to be home as there are no showers in the hospital and she has been there nearly two weeks!!! Babushka is very happy and she and Seva cannot be seperated))) So heres some photos))))

By the way I'm proud of my other kids too so I included som pics of them.

Great pics and I can see your son has your facial features bgreed. Two weeks without showers is torture.  Been there, done that in the Army and it's a terrible feeling until you get used to it and the smell.
