Health insurance in Ukraine for wife who is waiting to immigrate

Does anybody have any experience with or ideas about obtaining health insurance in Ukraine for my wife (who is waiting months now for the government to process my K-3 petition, and will likely have to wait many more)?  Any good international or US health insurance companies who will write a policy for a Ukrainian citizen living in Ukraine?

If she is your wife, did you talk to your health insurance company about including your wife in your plan?

Alternatively, does her employer provide any health insurance?

Your questions are good.  My wife does not work, and so has no insurance with an employer.  My company will pay for coverage for my wife, but the insurance company would not pay for benefits for people outside of my state.

So, it is back to looking for a local Ukrainian insurance company, if possible.

Correct, almost.  My wife would not be covered if she continued to officially reside in another state, rather than my state.   I have an HMO, which like many HMO's, have provider (doctor and hospital) agreements only in a specific geographic area (such as a city or state).
