Funny Relationship Stories?

Do any of the other couples have funny love or dating stories?

Most of ours come from differences in verbal or nonverbal communication.

My husband and me were talking about our first meeting.

We went to Paris and one night I decided to ignore him a little to make him jealous.  It is what a woman is supposed to do. 

It went the wrong way and he became angry and was ready to go home although we laugh about it now.

Another time we were walking in Chisinau and certain Moldavian words sound like American cursing.  It was a bit of a shock for him.

What has everyone else experienced?

Most days we have fun, so to write all would be more like writing a sitcom than a story.

But our first face-to-face meeting was funny.

I arrived in Moscow and to my hotel. Being May it was just below zero, and I enjoyed the snow that is rare in my country. For that reason I decided to walk to the subway station we agreed to meet, it were just two stops and I had a lot of time. Bad decision, as I learned that in Moscow the distance between two stations is not a short one.
But I still arrived in time and started to look around. As it was near the National Theatre, lot of people who were looking for their dates.
After some time I got the feeling that I had better call. It turned out to be right, as she was waiting on the platform thinking I would arrive bye metro. She could hardly understand me, with all the background sounds and not having recent practice in English.
But we managed to talk each other in to finding directions.
Waiting on top of the escalator I suddenly saw a woman talking in to her mobile, and she saw me. We said hello in to the phone to be sure and then disconnected to continue our meeting...

During my first trip to Ukraine my friend became a little sick so I told her to take an hour nap and i would go walking. Well I spent about 2 hours out walking which I thought she would want the extra sleep...  I was wrong. When I came back she was standing outside the apartment with her hands on her hips and tapping her foot (I can understand this in any language and it does not mean they want sex). Anyway, she was upset I stayed gone so long said "I am VERY hungry with you!". She meant to say I am very angry... so I though I would try to lighten the mood with some humor so I said "Well you can eat me if you want". Well, I was glad she didn't have a gun because she took it completely wrong. She then told me to sit at the table and she was going to make dinner.. I said I wasn't too hungry and she said "you will eat when I am done" so I just decided I needed to keep my mouth shut.
