In Lugansk, Ukraine, people discovered a whole mouse baken in a recently bought piece of bread:

Actually it ia the year of the Rat. And my cat (who loves fresh bread) wants to place an order to this bakery  :P

There have been cases like that here in Sweden to.
It doesnt matter what country it is.
The odds on things like that happening is so low compared to the volume of products they make.

I would advise not to bring bread.   When you visit a super market in Russia, (can't speak for Ukraine) you will find a selection of breads far superior to anything you see in the USA.  My favorites are the dark rye breads, except for when eating caviar, of course.

...and Australia!  :D I used to go to the supermarket just after they baked so it was as fresh as it gets!  It is one of the many things I miss about Russia.

I've never done it, but I know one man who is a member here who used to bring home several loaves of bread on the return trip.  Used to drive the Customs people, and their sniffer dogs, nuts.
