Going Back To Odessa for Wedding
« on: January 03, 2008, 11:27:35 PM »
I am going back to Odessa February 20 to get married. Will be gone for total of 6 weeks (2 weeks for honeymoon).
Since neither of us has ever been married we wanted to do something special for wedding instead of getting married in wedding palace. We found out in Odessa the literature museum rents out the main hall which we chose to do and hold wedding in there.
My Fiances family booked a restaurant in Hotel Odessa for reception (they refuse to let me spend a dime on the wedding).
I am currently booking our honeymoon. Currently checking on locations my fiance can go with no major issues concerning getting a visa. We want some place warm where we can lay on the beach and get a tan. 8)
Although I am not as active as others here and I have not been member for a long time (I spent alot of time reading threads before joining) I want to thank everyone here for the many words of advice and wisdom they have shared which helped bring me to where I am. Although some may find it corny but I am extremely happy and very much in love with my fiance (Karina). I truly feel like the luckiest person alive and I look forward to a lifetime of happiness together. Once again thank you to everyone.

Raven,
Congrats on the firm wedding date.  So are you only going to do a RAGS ceremony (the legal one) or are you going to also have an Orthodox wedding? (assuming of course that your fiancee is orthodox)

Ever been to a FSU wedding before?  If not get ready for a serious party (like for two or thre days 8)

Hope everything goes great for you and the future Mrs.. Hey have you decided on a K-3 or a CR-1 yet?

All the best,
Gregg

Sounds like Egypt is your place unless you can splurge on Thailand.  I really recommend Thailand btw.
