 Realistically I would say 80% of men involved in this endeavor are real sickos. The ones going to the Philippines and Thailand being the majority.

  I feel sorry for FW as it seems they get the worst choice in Western men and low quality Western women get first choice in the best of them.Many men going the MOB route may look great on paper as they are usually well educated, but lack social skills and many aren't exactly Brad Pitt, though they want Angelina Jolie lookalikes.

  The selection of men you see on this message board and a few others are  better than the norm you will see when you go there. In fact many decent AM are appalled when they see how some AM behave abroad.

 All I can say is give the girl some respect,make sure you do a check-up from the neck-up and also keep your body in good physical condition and she'll be happy to see there are a few good men still out there.

I long ago stopped taking sides in this. There are lots of stunted, sick men involved in this pursuit but the women on the receiving end have their share of scammers, pro daters, opportunists, and just plain crazy women. It's sad that sincere people on both sides end up getting hurt but neither side has a monopoly on bad behavior.

 Although I don't see anywhere the number of disgusting men that mspanky see's, as he see's some 80%,  I do see some of these men who are disgusting, one was on our fall tour.  As hard as I try to make sure all are guys are of good character, occasionally a scumbag get's in.


 This one sicko on the fall trip found a lady from Zaporozhye who could tolerate him, and she actually let him take some simi-nude photos of her, with one in particular photo of bad taste.  This grown man of 50 plus some years was like a little kid, showing all the men he could his photos of this woman 20 plus years younger than him.

 The real sickening part was when he had to show the one really bad photo to two of the ladies working on the tour. What a way to get one's kicks. This was the trip I could not make. Something tell's me he wouldn't have been showing those photos if I was there.

 These are the type scumbags that give a lot of good men a bad name.

I agree with you in part and disagree with you in part and I think the guys on planet love who have married in the Asian countries that you refer to would disagree as well. Failure doesnt need a country to be from;it just needs another dysfunctional american guy who comes to Russia or Ukraine thinking that his social disability will be overlooked.

Sicko men are everywhere since they are targeting woman on domestic dating sites too. Just go to Craigslist Seattle and you'll read in many women's profiles of them requesting men to please not send them pics of their dicks/penises/cocks/package. Some women even say in their profile they are giving online dating a second chance although their first experience soured their views on the amount of quality men out there. 80% sounds high but it may seem that way because sick men contact every women on those dating sites to get the lion's share of attention. Decent men usually contact some or just one woman at a time so it may seem as if they're scarce.

 I would say talk to a few Foreign girls who have used dating sites and they'll tell you they had more weirdos than normal guys. Probably why so many resolve themselves to settle after awhile. As reality is there are many hot women with pretty "average Joe's" If the "average Joe's are what they settle for don't you wonder why? Then there are the spectacular guys like me and many others on this forum.

  Ok, things have not been perfect for me either and ended up almost marrying a scammer(I knew for 2 years and numerous trips) who was seeing another guy on another message board I frequent(Small world!). But I'm back on track now and ready to get my princess.

The knife cuts both ways here. I will say that beating up on your "fellow me" servers no real purpose. It is much better to show yourself as a shining example of what is right with men rather than discuss the negatives.

Don't forget that your "competition" could be another foreigner or a Russian man. A good Russian man is a worthy challenger. Unfortunately (for RW) they are not that often found. Nor are all the remaining Russian men bad.

I would say the average American man makes a better husband than the average Russian man. I can say that typically a Russian man is better at "romancing" the women in the courtship phase more so than the typical American man. Thank the American women for working so hard to castrate the American male! We have balls but don't know how to use them anymore (present company excepted).

Problem is for RW is that often once a RM has won the "prize", he is off to the next challenge (i.e. woman).  One thing that can be said about men in general is "They are only as faithful as their options!" In Russia, there are a lot of options.

Problem for many RW dating AM is that not too often does the average (or above average) American man come to the FSU. Too often it is a loser or someone obviously with difficulties in some key areas.

Then again not every RW is the best thing since sliced bread. I will have to say that will a little butter or jam though they are pretty tasty.

Let's not forget about the Aw, as the last ex-gf, would turn to physical contact during an argument.  Not the good kind either.  She gave me a couple of bloody noses and left her share of marks.  Some men, who did not know her, often told me "Quite a catch."  If they only knew.  But, while the focus is on AM, I thought I'd ad this.

Shukumvit, Arcadia (sp?)...........wherever............average quality of WM.........suspect. Location doesn't seem to make much difference from my short personal observations. Lived and worked in Bangkok for a few months a while back.........visiting WM were not exactly people I sought out to associate with. Found much the same in Romania, Ukraine, Latvia, Moldova, Russia and....................

Problem I have is the title of this thread.............Some Guys are real pricks. I'm disappointed in light of recent discussions. I thought this one was devoted to my honour.

My ten years agency experiences for Russia/Ukraine and my 20 years of experience in Thailand make me think that there are equally as great a number of social lepers in both areas. However, there are probably more opportunities for the sexually perverse in Thailand.

 Bruce, never been to Thailand but have been to the Philippines twice. Once to Cebu another time in Mindanao.Having seen both the men there and the men who chase RW and other eastern European women let me just say I feel very sorry for the choices the Filipinas have. Just like I would feel sorry for men who had only choices of "Rosie" lookalikes if those AW were to stampede to countries were the men are desperately poor.

. The majority may make good husbands or are able to support her and her family. But Filipinas in the U.S. would'nt get near the majority of those guys because physically they are very unattractive and few make the effort to change that.Also, the age gaps are bigger  than men looking for RW.William is rare as he's good looking and seems to have great social skills .
There's more to people then whether they would make a good husband or wife. Their is also physical attraction that gshould go both ways. Thats why we AM are not willing to settle for a majority of FW who are older or less attractive even though they may make the best wives.

  I happen to think most Foreign women dream of the whole package, but will settle for "average Joe" then if something better comes along they will keep an open mind.

    I happen to talk a lot via e-mail to a young Filipina who married a man over 20 years older. She's at her wits end now with the marriage and everything he does aggravates her. She's now exposed to men who are at her gym and other men she's meeting at school and now comparing those guys to the guy who once looked like Prince Charming in the Philippines. Guess what's happening? He's no longer looking like her Prince, She wishes he would go to the gym, lose 40 pounds,get out more and stop being a couch potato. No different than how we compare AW to FW. They will eventually compare AM they are married to with other AM when they get here. It's human nature to want the best you can get in your "present" environment.

 We have an advantage to meet her, but to go way out of your league by thinking she's going to be grateful forever to a man she wouldn't have looked twice at if she were already living in the U.S.  This isn't realistic if you're gonna bring her back here. people adjust to their surroundings quickly and soon want better than what they once settled for. So choose well. Take a real good look at yourself to see if you have maximized your physical attractiveness if you want a hottie. A marriage is not only about being a good person and a good provider. It's also about sexual on both ends magnetism which most guys tend to forget.
