Review of the price for gas transit?!
Let's remember how many Ukrainians districts steal Russian gas while it passes through the territory of Ukraine and move back to the oridinary price.

If they want to be idependent let them be independent, if Europe has one price why should Ukraine have "a special price", they don't want to be "brothers" anymore, why do they always remember about "being brothers" when  time to pay comes?!

Sorry to say this, but that is a very simplistic, nationalist reaction to a highly complex matter involving elements of both governments, and 'mafia' types.

The gas is not only Russian, but also Turkmenian, etc.  People, anywhere, including Russia, will steal gas if they can, especially given the way that (in Russia particularly) it piped above ground!
 
But the issue is far more complex than that.  It revolves around the issue of a nontransparent Swiss company, Rosukrengo, co-owned by Gazprom and some unsavoury Ukrainian elements, possibly 'known' to Yushchenko, who could be said to be working for the Russians.
 
Whatever, into this complex mix has entered a new twist, apart from the wish of Tymoshenko, and all right-thinking people, to do away with RosUkrEnergo, who just skim of money.
