Greetings, ladies and gents, it's been awhile. Today we are married 5 years and
doing well. Been missing this place but keeping very busy. Two daughters in
school, one's moved to Louisiana, Mama's visiting this spring. Life rolls on....

Congratulations.  Five years is indeed something to celebrate.  A feel good news flash always does the heart good.

You do not post as much as you did in the past, yet you always had something insightful to say with economy of words.   Hope to see more of you and other married guys in the future.

Thanks, everyone. At some point long ago she stopped being my
Russian wife and started simply being my wife, period. The novelty
of her heritage almost vanished, and the nuances of language and
cultural differences became so comfortable for us.

Voyageur, we're going to be up on Long Island for a week in
September, roughly the 9th through the 14th - how about a
long overdue lunch somewhere in Nassau County?

Thanks for the invite. Unfortunately we are located near Lake Ontario, and a ride to Nassau County would take the better part of the day. If you ever find yourself in the central part of NY, let me know and we'll have that lunch.  :)
