One thing I find delightful for a connoisseur of beautiful women, is the fact that there are so many different ethnic groups and ethnic mixtures in the FSU. "Pure" Russian or Ukrainian is not all that pure...Historically Russia/Ukraine was plagued by wars and was conquered by the Vikings, Tatar/Mongols and who knows who else if we go back further. There was a huge influx of Germans and French who've been settling in Russia since the time Peter the Great extended an invitation. The last Russian Czar probably had more German/Austrian blood than Russian. Since Russia borders some of the Eastern states like Armenia, Georgia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, etc. Obviously there was interuction throughout centuries and in particular when all those states became part of the USSR. That interaction created some delightful ethnic mixtures that you find amongst today's "Russian" population. So weather you like Euro-slavic look, Asian, middle-eastern, dark hair, blond hair, curly hair, straight hair too many to mention! You can find all that in one place called FSU. I personally don't have a preference and enjoy looking at beautiful women no mater what their ethnicity is. My wife has 4 different ethnic groups mixed in her (as far as she knows) I have at least 3, so our daughter has at least 7!!!! but what a little beauty she turned out to be!!!

You forgot one major influence in the last 75 yrs is that when the Stalin was in power he wanted the FSU to be monogamous culture. So he move people around to destroy the local cultures and traditions. They wanted a russian culture throughout the whole FSU.

I have to disagree with you, Mark. First of all Stalin wasn't in power for 75 years. Second, Stalin wasn't Russian, he was Georgian, from a small Georgian mountain village (I tend to think very much like the environmnent that Saddam Husein grew up in) Russian was his second language and he spoke it with a heavy Georgian accent and I really don't think that his agenda was to distroy local cultures. They did try to distroy religion, a sense of individuality, personal property and many other things. But as far as I remember growing up in the USSR they always celebrated different cultures of the Soviet Union, and often had dance groups, singers, artists on TV performing their folk dances, songs in their folk costumes in their native languages.

Btw, I don't know if me and my girlfriend will have one child together one day, but I ask myself about the result as I am myself a mix between French, Dutch, Spanish and Tunisian, and her a mix between Ukrainian, Russian and Polish blood...

the more, the marrier! The more different ethnic groups you and you lady have the richer the genetic pool. You child is more likely to be beautiful, smart and healthy.

This client of mine told me that he had it done. But he has somewhat of a different sense of humor so I wasn't sure if he was just joking...actually it's a funny situation. He's great grand parents came from Russia to the USA a 100 years ago, before the revolution. They were with a group of people - a religious sect escaping prosecution. All these years they stayed within their own community and married only one another.
He decided to be the first one in 4 generations to break that tradition and look for a Russian girl from Russia who is not from his religious background. He actually is very proud of his Russian heritage even though he's never been to Russia untill we went last January. The funny thing is that he told me that he did have that test done, and was shocked to find out that he didn't have a drop of Russian blood in him!!! He had Flemish, German and French I think, but no Russian at all. I wasnt't sure what to make of it, because I haven't heard of a test like that before. But now I know! Thanks Sandro!

Russia is a great mix of cultures, as you can see Eastern blooded women from Belarus (which is West of Moscow). Ms Shadow is a mix of Western and Asian her self and has always had great interest from Asian people. Because of her eye shape and face she looks very close to a white Asian, which seems to be a dream for almost any Asian man...

She took the best features from both my wife and I and people often comment on how exotically beautiful she is. You'll probably have a real hard time guessing what her ethnic mix is! At this point she mostly speaks/understands Russian, but is starting to pick up a little English. She is already a little flirtushka and is learning how to manipulate dadd, who has a hard time saying "no" to her

Pretty women!  What you describe as ethnic diversity, is not a point of discussion in America.  In America, ethnic diversity is measured more in terms of black, white, yellow and brown and not round eyes or oval eyes.

My fiancee gathers a lot of attention about the shape of her eyes when we meet other Russians for the first time.  They ask about her ancestors. yet all she knows is that her family has descended for generations and generations from Moscow blood.
