First time I read this I wondered why her husband didn't question the agent when he asked for his wife's cell phone # at the end of the interview...

This is the worst kind of situation possible, giving some low-level civil servant enormous power. The potential for abuse is astronomical.

This has been all over the TV and radio as well. He supposedly processed some 2500 green cards a year.
