hmmmmm not the way to go unless you can speak some Russian.
I got it and it was pretty easy and straightforward in the beginning, then all of a sudden
it got to a point where you start guessing what is going on, judging by what you see in the picture of course and you quickly learn that what you saw in the picture is not what is intended for you to see. So try something more basic like Pimsleurs Basic Russian to start with before you lash out that kind of cash,
If my girlfriend could not speak a bit of English I would still be stuck on lesson 6, module 1, disc 1.

My wife comes from a city of 1.2 million and I have about 12,000 people in my town.  We're 1/2 hour or an hour drive from larger areas.  She enjoys life here very much - so my suggestion is to find a woman that is happy with you, then I am sure you can make it work if it is true love.  Don't base anything on size of cities IMO.
