WOW...I finally got around to doing this

Hello all,
I'm Andrew. I'm from South Africa but prefer to spend my time in civilised countries.
This is my third attempt to post this introduction. First time there was a power failure and I lost it, second time my internet connection died for 2 days in the middle of writing the post. Gotta love Africa. (Somebody take me out back and shoot me please  )

Aside from that, I have been in a relationship for 3 going on 4 years with a wonderful Russian lady. We met on IRC so none of those dating site nightmares luckily.
It hasn't been easy but we have persevered and it really is well worth the effort.
Its great to have someone who appreciates you and doesn't look for any little thing to put you down by.
Much more rewarding than any western relationship I had. Oh yeah, the last western one ended in a divorce........
Stumbled across this site while looking for other peoples experiences and advice.
Fantastic site, great advice from what little I have read. Nice to see people taking an interest in their fellow man and offering guidance where they can.

Well, thats about it. Nothing that interesting on my side.

Welcome Andy, nice to have a down-underer newbie NOT from Australia, for a change (unsufferable lot, those ). One of my oldest friends hails from your neck of the veldt, came to Italy to pursue a tenor's career and ended up joining IBM here. Talk about twists and turns .
