Russian Women and American Sports

Wondering from those who have their ladies in the US if by chance their ladies are interested in American Sports?

Soccer (Football) is very popular in Ukraine however I have no gotten my lady addicted to American Football. I will take full credit for turning her into a Baltimore Ravens fan. 

She has Ray Lewis Jersey. Ravens Autographed Football and ball caps as well. She enjoys watching games. I usually have to record them and bring on disc when visiting. During the season she would go to NFL.com and watch the online game broadcasts.

We are also purchasing two French Bulldogs which she wants to name one "RAY" and the other "LEWIS".

Was wondering if any others Lady's also enjoyed US sports.

The only sport my girlfriend seems to be interested in is hockey, of all things.  I would have thought perhaps soccer or something, but hockey is her favorite.  I'm not much of an American sports fan myself, I enjoy tennis more than anything, and we're able to have quite good conversations about Russian tennis players, which is pretty cool.

Right on there brother. I digress, according to the stats, Maria Sharapova at 6'2" has 4' 1 1/2" of the best legs since Steffi Graff. Now that IS cool. Oh and those legs run all the way up to THAT butt. That is seriously pretty and cool.

My wifey tolerates my sports habits more than anything.  Here's a breakdown of her sports interest:

Football- not too much but she does like goal line stands when the running back flies over the pile.  Asked why it isn't called "handball" because the ball is in hands a lot more than it is kicked?

Hockey-  I really thought she would like hockey, especially back in Detroit when we had all the Russian players, but she never really got into it much.  She did enjoy going to see the games though.

Basketball- She gets into the payoffs with the Pistons and enjoyed attending the games.

Baseball- Most difficult sport for RW to begin to understand.  We attended a game in Detroit soon after her arrival and she was bored to tears with it.  But after years of picking up the game here and there, she has started to appreciate it more.  Last season we drove to Anaheim to see a Tigers/Angels game and she was very much in to it.  She is already planning her game time outfit for when Detroit plays San Diego in interleague play this summer.  Nothing hotter than my wife in her Tiger's cap, with that long blond hair and her blue eyes! :hairraising:

Ice skating- Friends of ours are relatives of Sasha Cohen (Ukrainian skater for the US Olympic team).  We recently attended a local ice show with Sasha in it and to my surprise, *I* wasn't bored to tears.

My fiance hates sports.  Which I like.  My exwife loved sports and I hated that.  I think women to into sports is like a dude.   


Regarding Sharapova she is shorter than 6 foot 2 as I met her in person recently.  I am just short of 6 foot 4 and she was significantly shorter.  I give her 6 foot or 5 foot 11 7/8.  Still hot.

I like basketball and in small portions.  That's all! No, beer no, but milk chocolate is just right.

I would slightly adjust the question: do they actually participate in any sports in the U.S., besides watching? any sport club memberships, or personal coaches?
