Agency in Vladivostok is originclub.  www.originclub.com

No direct Alaska to VVO routes, but maybe this summer.  See:
http://www.adn.com/money/industries/aviation/story/368884.html

Otherwise, going through S. Korea is fine too, there is a transit hotel right in the airport to overnight in.

Also see me trip report on Vladivostok if interested in what the city can be like.

No doubt you will do well there at your age.

The women I do date, the chemistry just runs out too fast.

If this is the problem then I am not sure RW or UW are much different from AW.
It might be Alex's personal problem.
Women are women all over the world.

Good point. It would be useful for Alex to analyze why the chemistry runs out. Does he lose interest? Does she lose interest? Was there really any chemistry to begin with?

When I was starting out (and first found RWD) it was Muck's TR that told me I was doing the right thing...  A great read and fabulous opportunity to live the experience without ever leaving home.   :D

Muck... I don't think I've ever had the opportunity to thank you for your trip report.  I enjoyed it very much.  Thank you!

OK... sorry for the  :offtopic:

Chemistry is not a geographical notion nor it is a national one (maybe a little).
To look for chemistry in Russia just because it is Russia ? There are millions nice women but thers is  a lot of them in the States also!
I hope everybody considers this stupid thing- "the blue passport"

May First..welcome.  Your first post, eh?  It would be nice to know something about you..  Yes women are generally the same but there are some wonderful differences from culture to culture and in general I think it is the fact of the those differences that gives wings to this forum.
And if I may, May First, be the first to point out that a American Paratrooper is a man, not a boy.

Most of AM are more honest- they want younger, submissive and agreeable RW or UW. They say so. It is quite offensive but the intentions are clear.
Alex is not mature enough  I think.
Though I understand his desire to settle and get a family.
He can sure try in Russia- just no over top expectations

Just out of curiosity,Ronnie - what are these "wonderful difference"?
The ones that give the wings? :)
Alex says he is searching for chemistry. I am confused a little  :)

Ronnie, I guess both May First and me are Russian. It is OK to say "boy" here and we are  still curious what makes Russia the country with more chemistry.
It is a good question.

Hmmmmmm, why am I thinking I have seen all this before in a not so different style.... :noidea:

Most of AM are more honest- they want younger, submissive and agreeable RW or UW.
That conclusion is based on................

They say so.
Where?

It is quite offensive but the intentions are clear.
Would that be because it doesn't fit someone else's ideals? Or would it simply be because the complainant doesn't fit into the perceived target market?

Alex is not mature enough  I think.
And this is not offensive?
Quote
Though I understand his desire to settle and get a family.
Is this also an immature desire?

He can sure try in Russia- just no over top expectations
Solid advice.

PS: Wait for the "I'm simply being honest" line to be trotted out. ;D

OK guys give me a credit- English is not my first language and the statement that Alex is not mature enough refers to his age.
What is offensive in AM looking for younger and submissive? Just few of men can marry 10-20 years younger women in this country. Submissiveness is a doubtful virtue  because it is often based on RW's being dependant for 2-3 years just because of GC situation. Yes it doesn't fit RW's ideals- they just HAVE to do it.

Doll,

You are correct. We all need to be patient with communication and understanding - especially knowing that many members have English as a second language. Thank you for reminding us.

In your earlier post, you wrote that AM are "more honest". Most people consider honesty to be virtuous, and not "offensive." That is why I asked the question about what you find offensive.

Also, you claim that AM are "looking for younger and submissive." Why do you think so?

Is your husband American? If so, was he also "looking for younger and submissive"? You mentioned your ages in an earlier post, and it seems you are younger than your husband. Is there something "offensive" about it?

When you use that term, "submissive", what do you mean? I want to be sure there is no language issue.

I mean the most AM are honest- they say they want younger and less independent. The call it family oriented but it is the matter of terms.
I answered  regarding offenses.
Why do AM look for younger  and submissive in Russia? Most of the, can't get it here but we all understand this desire  :) Where the men can go for a bargin?
To the places where can be barely sold and thus they are on sale :)
Yes my husband IS American and he also was looking for " the woman who wouldn't ask for anything more than he had" He also say AW don't know what they want.
I am sure they do- they just want a lot and I don't blame them.

Just to chime in, it seems to me the code word for "submissive" is "traditional." Much of the marketing by agencies harps on the "traditional" woman who is happy to let the man lead. The implication is that RW are more submissive by nature. The other element of their marketing is that you can find a younger RW.

Ah, you're right- submissive is not quite the word.
When somebody wants to be bossy- the other needs to yield.
The strong desire to yield is the term. May be not so strong but we need to be this way the first 2-3 years.

What AW want and what you want in this case can't be compared.
Come on, you know what we are talking of

I've been watching AW for more than 6 years- they seem ok :)

And that's just how they get you. They appear to be normal but after they get the hook in they turn into the Bride of Frankenstein!  ;D

Really there are plenty of great AW's out there. Along with plenty of great women from any and every part of the world. Some of us broadened our search parameters and found the perfect fit in the FSU. Others find it in Asia, South America, or right in their back yards. Doesn't matter where you find the one person who is your match. All that matters is that you do find that person.

I've yet to see a FSUW that would be considered submissive in any way shape or form. On the whole they are quite strong, focused, and determined.

All right- RW are different but it is more of a flexability.
Immigration makes you do what you would never do in a normal situation.
The latest example- I am watching a woman who came here a month ago.
Guys there is a HUGE difference between what she thinks and what she tells her husband. She doen't lie to him- she hides 90% of her thoughts.
When her husband is home she is an angel "yes, honey, sure ,honey". He is out-  " Damnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn!"
