We are starting this again LOL   :rolleyes2:

If you have been here for six years, everything gets recycled frequently.
WMVM vs. WOVO
Big City Women
Age Gaps (thank God this has been slow lately)
I'm Black
Gifts to Bring
Apartments
Scam Agencies
What does it mean if she said...
etc.

Yet, there are new members everyday, and I think they should consider FSUW from the Big Three Cities as well as women from the provinces.  I do not like erroneous blanket comments that discourage new members from experiencing perhaps their best choice.

I understood only about 10% of the words, yet I could understand that it was about a villager coming to Moscow and being greeted rudely.  I laughed, mainly at watching Sabina laugh.  Sabina says "spasibo" for sending it.

No, not a villager - Masyanya (girl in the cartoon) is from St Petersburg, so it's a double joke as Moscovites and St.Peterbugians don't like each other too much   ;)

Sabina, ne za chto.   :)

The mistake was not encouraging much more economic development in provincial cities so that 10 million people do not move to Moscow in search of gold.

10 million migrants???   Are you sure???    :o  It's still pretty hard to get registered there as far as I know.   You have to have a job to get a temporary registration and 10 mil job sounds a bit excessive to me...

Gator,
 LOL

What a great list. I think that covers just about everything ever posted or asked on any Russian dating forum ever. Dan does a great job with the site but I've always thought there were too many subjects to post under. I get lost at times looking though the subject page. A lot of people come and go on these boards. By the way whatever happened to the old RW Guide board? I always liked the board before everyone got to fighting and split off. I just wish we couldve all got along with the exception of a few azzhole posters mostly RW that thought they needed to make 400 post a day and bring absolutely nothing to the table but spewing venom about the process. A guy going on a trip can really learn from a place like this if he doesnt think he already knows all the answers. Most of the time those guys crash and burn and they never post a trip report and we never hear anything back. I've always thought that Dan does a great job with this site. I cant imagine the time and effort that goes into a place like this. This place is a goldmine for guys starting the process.

Something you need to realise is thatsome of the girls youare in touch with may very likely have more than just you to email and talk with.  The 3 month guideline is a good one, also don't read too much into all what is said in her emails.
Some may open up, some may not. Some and this has happened to me a few times is the little white lies they tend to tell. Such as " I don't smoke"  Ok I believe it that is until you show up and she's reaching into her Gucci knockoff hand bag for some smokes.

They see it as no big deal , "Yeah I smoke why does it bother you if I smoke ?"
What I have done in the past was to start writing, and once I got 4-6 on board I would plan my trip. It never worked that way, as by the time I had 5 to write to ,they would drop off as the weeks went by. So it was down to more like 2 girls.
I also have done the write none and just drop in to some agency's. This method worked best for me,it really cuts the BS  in minutes, and as mentioned the emails from home take hours.
If you still want to write them ,don't write more than once a week and do make a call to them, that I can't stress enough !
For my latest search ::) I'm working with a few agency's,and dabbling in the free sites as well. My MO is to write a few emails ,if shes interesting enough, and than make a phone call to her. If the call goes good, than making that decision to buy the plane ticket will be alittle easier.
But for the first timer  once yo buy the ticket, you may have a feeling of ,
" WHAT HAVE I DONE !"

I know I'm not like most guys, my TR's are elsewhere, and I think I can make the podium for
 crash & burn  :D

I never did read up on all what happened at RW guide, but from what I can tell it was taken far too serious.

Developing long term communications with these girls without a prior meeting is very difficult and I believe would seldom happen if ever. Primarily because they are not interested.

With regard to telephone conversation, that has not been easy, while some can write with the help of a dictionary, maintaining a conversation is even more difficult.

With regard to agency matches, I have my doubts about them.

Why is everyone so down on AFA tours? I would think that they would be better than what the agency provides.

Maybe I should not post here at all, since I am quite new at this. But at least I went and met my girl!

It made a HUGE difference to our "relationship". I think there are a lot of "keyboard Romeos" out there and the girls know that, and many of them don't really take you for real before you commit to a trip to meet them. And as many before me have said; You really have to meet face to face before you have any kind of relationship. Before that you are just penpals!

For me, doing a WOVO, I really kept my expectations down. But instead I was treated with a wonderful weekend!  :)

I found my girl on freepersonals.ru, and she is not listed with any agencies. But i think what I am trying to say is that the best way to treat this is like dating any woman wherever in the world she is from, don't think this is an easy way to get yourself a woman, at least not if you are looking for a good FSU woman;) It is not "dating light". After my trip I am sure this is not for the faint hearted or those that have poor dating skills at home!

And yes it is easy for me to say that have just an one hour flight to S:t Pete ;) But for me it just made my girl real when I finally met her! And I am soon going to this wonderful country again :)

As I said, sorry for posting, but I just wanted to give my opinion that a real visit will change you whole perspective of this process!
