Free Phone Calls and SMS
« on: June 26, 2008, 12:47:28 AM »
I'm sure everyone here knows how to save money and talk by VOIP.  I've used Skype for just over three years now and it's rarely ever failed me.  For men who are new to communicating overseas, there are a lot of ways to save money.  Can anyone tell me more ways to communicate overseas without emptying the pocketbook?

That depends where you are and where the lady (ies) are you wish to communicate with and the sort of internet (if any) connectiviity you and they have.

I use Vonage's voIP business service and all calls to Russia (and 44 other countries ) are free.. but the quality of voIP calls are affected by many factors.. particularly the final leg from the Russian IP network to the local pots (plain old telephone service)

Ukraine is not included in the bundle and international calls to / from there aren't cheap, as you know.. ;)

I am not at all  knowledgeable  in this area.  But, I have read that when you use Skype (and probably the other similar services) that during your connect  time, Skype actually comes into your PC and uses your memory, etc., to do scientific calculations, etc.  Because of this 'using your computer' many companies will not allow the downloading of Skype software into their systems.  It's been  awhile since I read this,  so others probably know more.
I am a sex tourist who is driven by the hunt with no emotion or empathy and suffer from Satyriasis, Don Juan Syndrome and Madonna-Whore complex (but on alternating days) with confidence issues and many other issues. I suffer loneliness with no family, friends or money.  I have ED and orgasm problems

SKYPE is not allowed by some corporates on their networks because it is

1/  not "secure" and it uses up system resources.

2/ it is their network and they don't want staff making personal calls / chatting

Hardware voIP soultions - such as Vonage - don't need the pc to be tured on - one simply plugs the small router into most internet connections, plug in the phone and you can make and receive calls as if you are in US / UK, etc. Downside is you need to carry the small router around .

There are a bevy of options if your lady is in Russia. Ukraine not so - the best rate I have found is the Infinity card from callingcards.com at 0.077 per minute, Vonage is .13 per minute. I am curious about the use of Skype, presuming your lady has a computer at home with internet service and accounting for the time difference it would seem to be rather restrictive. My lady runs her own business and has a busy 13 year old daughter, and I am pretty busy guy myself. There is no way we could plan a specific time for both of us to be sitting in front of a computer. Never mind the nerd factor of such an endeavor.......kinda like posting on RWD during a busy morning at work.

I'm exclusively using skype-out to call Russia.  The cost is from $0.02 per minute (to call a land line in Moscow) up to $0.08 a minute (to call a mobile phone in Siberia). I've been happy with the connection quality.
