An old story... anybody remembers ?
« on: July 12, 2008, 08:03:50 AM »
A long time ago when I had just joined RWF, I read a story there of a guy trying to 'catch' a  scammer by letting them send a hat from the Hard Rock Cafe in Moscow. I have not found the story in any archive, but perhaps it rings a bell with one of the veterans ?
No it is not a dog. Its really how I look.  ;)

Scott Jay had a story similar to that. He said he sent a Sony laptop computer to a "woman" scammer and finally confronted the scammer with the idea of setting up a more sophisticated scam that the one he was running. I seemed to remember Splendid (Scott Jay) having someone perhaps you helping him try to "scam" the scammer.

The story I remember is far before Scott Jay started to roam the forums, it was about the time you started your fame.

it was about the time you started your fame.

Its been five years to the day that Elvira went to the shelter to get them to help her get "official evidence of abuse" with a protective order. Some fame  :wallbash:

Too bad the old RWG files go back to only 2006.
