2nd child
« on: August 27, 2008, 11:18:33 AM »
I'm happy to announce that on July 17th, our baby son was born.  This is our second child since she arrived on December 15th, 2005.  We were married in February and had our daughter in October.

Nothing unusual in the weeks that have followed, other than the general rule that 2 kids are 4 times as much work as 1.  Her now 13 year old daughter helps a bit.

We brought her Mom in on July 3rd and she stayed a month.  That was a GREAT help.

Cheers,

Kevin

Congratulations!

You know, medical science has figured out why this happens...   ;)

We will be using some medical science to keep us from having any more - but no technique that is acceptable is 100%.

FYI - I have a 20 yo in college, a 17 yo in high school, her 13 yo in 8th grade, and our two young ones (22 months and 5 weeks).

Congratulations you stud you!

I found that my second child was much less work.  All the adjustments had already been made and they helped entertain each other.  Now that third one!

You have already had a couple of teenagers, so I don't need to tell you that no matter how much trouble they are now, in about 13 years you will be wishing for these easier days.  I got broken in by being a single father with three teenage girls and a 10 year old son.  Those days of diapers and frequent feedings became quite nostalgic.
