What's the Chances....

Last week Tanya got a call from a friend of hers here in Anchorage that is also from Ukraine. She was surfing the web and found a site called odoklassniki.ru . It is basicly friends from school. Similar to our classmates.com .
Anyway she found a woman here in town that is from Cherkassy Ukraine! (My wife's hometown.) We called then went to meet this lady and her hubby today. After a couple of hours of their 'henfest' they discovered that she used to live in a building that another friend of Tanya's also lives in.. AND They know this mutual friend!
Of all the 6.721 billion (from wikiopedia) people of the world what's the chances of finding a person who knows a mutual friend from halfway around the world???
I am very surprised! It reminds me of the MickeyMouse land's "it's a Small World" theme song..
But I am also happy that Tanya seems to have met another new friend and her husband and I have a very similar backround so the's a good possibility that I have another new friend also..

All in all a very nice surprise this week end!
Has any other married couple had a similar encounter??
