If y'all have any restaurants to recommend, please post an entry in our related RWDpedia page (http://www.russianwomendiscussion.com/mwiki/index.php?title=Restaurants), possibly with some accurate address information and comments, so that other members may benefit from your experiences in the future.

Posting involves clicking the Edit tab on top of a page. If you're unfamiliar with the Wiki format, just copy and modify an existing entry, I can always clean up later any mess you may inadvertently have made ;).

I also created a new page for Cafés, but I would need a first recommendation to start the ball rolling.

The day has come for me to depart Ukraine.  Mila and FG are running late to pick me up, and I am starting to get a little nervous about missing the flight to Kiev.  The apartment manager is already at the apartment and waiting for me to leave.  Finally they arrive.  Mila explains that FG was moving a little slowly this morning.  My bags are loaded into the back of their car by Mila's husband, and we head toward the airport.

The streets are mostly empty this early in the morning, and we are making good time.  FG is seated next to me and is looking nice.  At the airport I thank Mila and her husband for their assistance during my stay.  FG and I race into HRK, and check in has already started.  After some goodbye hugs and kisses I am through the door and checking my luggage.  The flight to Kiev is uneventful, but I am thinking about a SMS that Thor had sent me a few days earlier telling me about some problems with immigration control at KBP.  What followed after I arrived in Kiev would include an overbooked flight, two computer crashes in immigration control, a missed flight, and an unplanned stay in Frankfurt.  Good thing I had an extra day built into my travel schedule.  I really should have stayed in Kharkov with FG!

Post away, Jack.   I was long gone by the time Queen came to town.  I've seen the photos from the show.

An estimated 350,000 people were in attendance.

The first three photos below are young ladies who were dressed as airline stewardess's who were passing out flyers in Lenin Square as the stage was being built for the concert.  They were in a playful mood as they saw me taking their photo.

Wrap up

So how did the newspaper ad compare to using an agency?  The primary difference was that there was no communication with the ladies I met prior to arriving in Kharkov.  I found the ladies who I met through the ad to be more sincere than the agency girls I have dated.  For best results with a newspaper ad you really need to be in country at least two weeks.  The most responses came on Mondays.  Good times to run the ad would be from February-May and September-November so there will be fewer holiday interruptions.

The stage show and flesh parade at Bolero was worth the cover charge.  Unfortunately, an overzealous club employee interrupted my attempt at mobile phone video, so no T & A from Bolero this time.

Thanks to Anastassia, RK, and Thor for their help before, during, and after my trip.  Even though I scratched Simferopol from the destination list ScottinCrimea passed along some great information to me for which I am most thankful.  As for Mila she did a great job with the ad, scheduling the dates and translating, and making suggestions about places to experience.  I cannot thank her enough for the job that she did.

Vacation time has been reserved, tickets to Kharkov have been purchased, and a deposit has been made on an apartment.  The journey continues November 29.
