This is a trip report but because of the subject I post it in this section of the forum...
I write it from Kiev on a tiny netbook, I will post photos when I will be back in Canada.

Yes...Since 27th september 2008, Anna and me are married.

My trip started on 24th with two nights spent in France, to recover from Jet lag. My mother who is close to 66 was coming with me too. She has left her home near mountains and the swisss border to go to the noise and pollution of Paris.

We took off from Paris of friday 26th  and after a flight without stories (except that Ukrainian people seems to not understand what the symbol fasten your seat belt represents...)

No problem with luggages and Anna was waiting for us. It was the second time she met my mother. After a short discussion with the taxi driver about price (140Hr) we let luggages to the hotel of my mother. I choosed the dnepro for her as it was perfect for us, close to the appartment I rented and to the restaurant for our wedding.

Anna's son was staying in her apartment with Anna's parent, I rented an apartment close to the place of independence.

Shortly after we went to meet all together, my mother, my step parents, Anna, me and her son. It was very interesting to see how fast the communication was established between our parents. Anna's mother and my mother, were able to find a common language after a few words. I guess my mother could learn russian faster than me !!

The day after was the DAY. Anna woke up early and went alone to her apartment.
I took time to prepare myself, and at 12, my helper Vova was coming with his car to pickup me to go to meet my future wife....

It has been awhile since I brought back my wife from Odessa to Warsaw and here.
8 years now..

Do Ukrainians still get the K-1 visa in Warsaw?
How much is the K-1 now?

I answered your question in another thread...K-1 and all other visa interviews have been done in Kiev, not Warsaw, for several years now.
