Yesterday I asked Natasha this:

Tell me please, what kind of guy are you looking for? Age limits? wieght limits? Is divorced okay? What about children from a previous marriage? Tell me what he should look like in general and of course what kind of man he is. What things would you like to do together? What do you expect from him as a husband? What should he expect from you as a wife? What should he know about you? And how good is your cooking? Haha, just kidding about that last one.

why would not she herself put her profile on some friends site and do the search for her dream guy , if she really wanted to find somebody, why would you play the role of a matchmaker?

in my experience it is usually a very tricky thing....

BeSmart, if she knows English well and has a good proven educational record, why wouldn't she consider an independent immigration as a skilled worker, to Canada, for instance? The odds for finding a good match would be tremendously in her favor this way, as soon as she lands the country independently and gets a resident status.

I agree, but maybe she just forgot for a second that she was addressing to lots of men, but instead was just writing back to BeSmart, and he is saying that they have communicated for some time and became close friends, so she is relaxed enough to talk about her preferences to him. I agree it's a little awkward to read, but at the same time I wouldn't take it as a big red flag or anything like that.

Good advice has already been given - she should post her profile herself and start the search. BeSmart, you can help her with the list of websites or agencies where RWD men are hanging out.

One of the big difficulties I personally experience in reviewing a written profile of someone is the absence of any sort of visceral sense of the person.

I was a theatre director for several years and despite the experience of reviewing hundreds of resumes, I always found there was no substitute for meeting the performer in person.  Sometimes they would have a mature, sensual headshot, yet behave quite bland in person.

So I appreciate when someone acknowledges the visceral side of a relationship in their profile.  It shows me that at least they are open minded and confident enough to talk about it.

In the case of talking about intimacy, for some people it is more or less important than others.  Just as some people place an importance on hobbies such as travelling or opera, so too do some people place an importance on visceral, physical pursuits such as sex.  I use the word "sex" as seperate from "making love", since it seems to me that "making love" is a subset of the the various experiences we have had over our lives.

I agree that a woman talking about sex in a profile might attract the wrong sort of man.  However, it then merely falls to her to weed out the bad apples (if one can "weed" apples?, I don't know?)

If it was a naive mis-statement, then sure take it out.  But if it's an important part of a relationship to her (ie maybe she's into making love in public places?, I dunno), I'd say leave it in there.
